does anyone have engine swaped old Alfa GTA tune for this race and lap times? I want to make this car for long time but somehow still haven't

Here goes my build.

STRATEGY
  • No Stop
  • Fuel Map 6
  • Short Shift at half the rev bar

NOTES
  • Wide Body / Wide Offset wheels
  • Add the rear wing
  • the Giulia has no options for front downforce; it struggles in the high speed corners
  • braking distances are average / bad; even with Racing Brakes
  • the gearing is optimized for a No Stop run - adjust Final Drive for full power 1 Stop runs
  • PP kept dropping as I reduced rear downforce
  • High RPM Turbo untested because I normally bolt the Low RPM onto everything

With more suspension tweaks and better driving, I believe that I can break into 25 minutes

I used FM1 on the final straightaway because I had some to spare, and I wanted a faster lap.

that's amazing, thanks you very much:)

I Tried some of the new engine swapped cars.

The RX7 is simply lovely and my new favorite car for 600 and 700 races. Easy no stop race on SH tyres.

The Rotary Copen is surprisingly good and gets up to 350kmh down the straight. It is set up with SS tyres and I did use TC2 to keep down the wheel spin. One stop race pitting at the end of lap 7 for new tyres and fuel for 5 laps.
show tune rx7 pls

I Did a couple of runs at Tokyo over the weekend.
I Tried out the recommended Chevy 'Vette C7 and it's surprisingly good.
The F430 is one of my favorite cars in GT7 and also for this race.
The engine swapped Impreza is probably my most used car in GT7.
It does the race effortlessly without a pit stop.

The Stingray is pretty quick around Tokyo.
Also a real pleasure to drive.
One stop end of lap 6 for fresh tyres and fuel.

I Did it with the swapped Twingo. Although it's fast it's not really a pleasure to drive.
Like all FWD cars with this kind of power the wheelspin is crazy and I used TC2.
1 Stop at the end of lap 7 for new tyres and fuel for the remaining 5 laps.

i did read some posts, then asked llm which cars "are the best" for this race, aston martin dr-100 seemed to be the "free" option. i usually use automatic transmission (i play on controller) so never really did a short shifting race, at the beginning i did have like 4 laps of learning basically. then i did mostly figure it out but was also not confident, nether the less every each lap was faster than the previous one till lap 9. and my fuel ended like 50 meters before the finishing line xD (wasn't efficient with shifting) at the end i had like 1:40 advantage to second one. basically i "cheated", but i personally don't enjoy such races so w/e OuO

this race is just about holding the gas (and breaking only once before the U turn) and rest is managing the gear shifting.

if you don't like wall riding, then gl hf OuO

If you're riding the walls, then this isn't the thread for you. See the "without exploits" in the title?

Try these.

Also,
You will not use “textspeak” (“r”, “u”, “plz”, etc.) in your messages. Decent grammar is expected at all times, including proper usage of capital letters.

Care to share? Please?
I'll share that later.

Anyhow, I immediately fell in love with this. Now I see why a lot are also seeing this as an absolute weapon.

Sport Mediums. Hard difficulty. No wallriding.

Will do another run and share the video later, along with the tune.

I finally did a shakedown run in the new hotness 964 turbo. Not bad, though the gearing was challenging to get right with the 5 speed box and turbo lag.

I am making a big assumption, but I think the 964 turbo with further weight reductions can do a no-stop.

I ran this entire race with one set of Sports Hards, and I had fuel to spare on Fuel Map 1 when I pit it at the end of lap six. I used the standard body width, so I expect a widebody to be even better with tire wear too. The engine is happy short shifting around 6k RPM. Perhaps that's a side effect of my favorite Low RPM Turbo choice.

The oversteer on throttle came as an annoying surprise, but perhaps that was a side effect of ~160 kilos of ballast in the nose messing with the weight distribution
