Try that.
The is F50 is having its Clutch removed, and to do this, everything on the back must be seperated.

This F50 also has the most miles recorded of over 50,000.

if it is the same brakes that are a $15,000 option on the modenas, than yeah, im pretty sure those carbon composite brakes. could be wrong

I think you're thinking of the $15,000 F1 package option on the modena, which adds cluthless F1 style shifting paddles as well. But yeah, I thought everyone knew you had to tear the ass end off and take it all apart to fix something? :sly: :ouch:

No, he's talking about the brakes. They do actually cost that much. The F1 option is about $10k, with the carbon brakes coming in at $14k. Here a quick quote from C&D for you. They're talking about the F430, not the Modena, but the price is still the same........

.....the carbon-ceramic discs—an option expected to cost the same as a Scion xB, or $14,000

PS, just about every exotic out there from Pagani to Lamborghini to Ferrari to some Porsches takes money to repair. It takes a lot to buy and insure the car, so you got to expect that repairing a $500K car or even a $250K car is not going to be like repairing an Escort. The car is built in top quality, so everything has to be taken great care of.

Welcome to the world of typical Ferrari service... :scared:

Frustrating? Yes.

Worth it? Well i have no idea only someone who owns one would.

First off, ferrari mechanics are expensive, ferrari parts are expensive, plus the car itself is real complex. You really need some $$.

If you can afford an F50 then 15k for a clutch job is pocket change.

To me this picture looks like an incrediably detailed model car, or is it just spray paint fumes getting to me?

Well the fact that you can see a guy crouching under the back makes me believe you need to put down the can.

LoL! That's what I thought at first too! Oh well, you weren't alone. I see the guy now though, I think it's real.

This reminds me of a show I saw once up here. A guy with an Enzo brought it into West Coast Customs (the shop from Pimp My Ride) to get custom rims put on it, and the guys at the shop were terrified to even look at the car, they were so afraid of damaging it. It was a challenge for them to fabricate the wheels as they didn't use a traditional hub, I think it has 6 screws instead of the traditional 5 or something.

I guess being one of 400 people in the world with that car isn't exclusive enough?

2 F50's for sale here http://www.carclassic.com/model.asp?Marque=Ferrari&Model=F50

The enzo wheels have actually only 1 screw like f1 car and this guys have a track too at mt-tremblant, canada and like 50 others ferrari so it could be the same guy
