I recently turned 16 and got my license. And I was wondering how mnay ticket's you guys have gotten.

2 weeks into my lisence I got 1 ticket for speeding. 65 in a 45mph. That's it currently.

What have you guys gotten?

In 15 years of driving, I've managed to pick up only one ticket. On a way to a funeral no less...

80mph in a 65 zone on the highway. But, it was NH, so it never went on my record, instead I shelled out $86 bucks.

I got one for having an overdue inspection sticker. But if you renew the inspection sticker within 10 days of getting the ticket, then the ticket only costs $10.

here's perhaps one of the best ticket stories I've heard of.

My sister-in-law took the parents Camry and a few friends out shortly after she had turned 18. She's not hte brightest girl around, but this night was an exceptionally daft one.

The cop tagged her at 115mph in a 25mph school zone.

$1000 fine. The insurance company dropped her and her parents. She got a night in Jail, 1 year suspended license, 3 years probation.

Charged with Reckless endangerment, and a slew of other violations due to friends being in the car.

And she's a red head, not a blond.

I haven't gotten any tickets, although I probably should've gotten a slew of them for speeding. I've only had my license about a year.

Tickets? Pffft. My most recent was a 86 in a 50.
In the past I've had a 89 in a 45, few reckless driving, exebition of speed, excessive acceleration, curfew, etc. God only knows how many lawyer fees and fines we've had to pay, or hours of community service I've had to do.

I have nothing on my record though.;)

I'll probably spend a night or two in jail once the T/A's motor's done.:trouble::lol:

Well, I turn 16 in June, so hopefully I won't get any. My brother got one for going 42 in a 30, damn those speed traps... The cops pulled over loads of people on that trap, from what I've heard. But it's not on my brother's record because he paid some extra fee to prevent telling it to the insurance company.

One week into your license and you already got a ticket? I would be alot more careful when i first get my license...

They can fine you for that?

I was breaking the tires lose as I was accelerating excessively.

If you just accelerate as fast as possible without spinning your tires or anything, no. If there is tire spinning involved, yes.

Did you know they can ticket you for running a yellow light?:odd: Well they can't, but I got a ticket for it once. Didn't hold up in court, though.

I have a friend that was pulled over for excessive acceleration in his dad's corvette and he wasn't spinning the tires. He wasn't even pushing the car that hard. Some cops are just assholes and will pull you over for practically nothing.

I also had a friend that was racing someone and got caught. He admitted that he was racing, but the other guy tried to deny it to the cop. The other guy got 6 or 7 tickets while my friend was only given a speeding ticket.

Got a "fix it" citation Thursday while driving my CRX, for having no passenger seat. :odd: Guess i'll have to sandbag a passenger seat each time i'm going racing... Surprisingly, no exhaust or illegal modification ticket. Guess my exhaust isn't loud enough for them to give me ****. (Woo!)

Yeah, like that cop who pulled me over for running the yellow light. I got pulled over in the S2000 once for looking suspiscious. I guess I looked suspicious because I wasn't driving some busted ass Celebrity or Caprice w/13" dayton's like everyone else in the ghetto ass neighborhood I was driving through.

The closest thing to a ticket was when I got yelled at by my High School principal for accidently peeling out it the parking lot. I was backing up and I guess the tires didn't like how hard I was turning. What an idiot... he thought I did it on purpose. My truck can't turn well in the first place.

You mean like driving alone at 3 am, on a dark deserted road in a shiny white Integra?

I got pulled over with the Type-R (for doing 115 in a 60 zone... i'm so stupid sometimes.), and they checked the VIN number to make sure i hadn't stolen it. Wish they could have done the same thing with the stupid bastards that actually stole it.

Got a ticket a few weeks back for doing (at least) 80 in a 65.
I didn't even see this cop. It was night and I looked in my rear view mirror to see some car riding my ass. So, naturally, I floored it and thats when the lights came on. The officer said he paced me doing at least 80 mph but knew I was going faster and then I accelerated away from him.

Damn, and my insurance was just getting reasonable now. Ah well, can only blame myself. :irked:

I can't even remember all the tickets I have gotten over the years. Most of them are for speeding. The highest speeding ticket I have gotten was 125 in a 55.(court and a big fine) The others were for excessive noise(open headers), Wreckless driving(doing a burnout)and a few parking tickets.
