Driving my 2.8 inline 6 swapped 32 GTR on the Nagoya Expressways and battling a FD, then a Evo. I love this game. Will always be a classic. The handling could have been better, but no games perfect.
Kinda funny that you put up a vid of a full-tilt R32 right after I start over and grab an R32 shortly after I enter Tokyo (defeated Osaka with an FC). I think mine might end up with an NA V8 swap though, it's going to be a C1 car as the R32 is all but useless on the Wangan line.
A VK series motor in a GTR? Nice. Tell me some C1 loop times you post.. Why do you say the 32 is useless on the wangan-san? *Edit* Im going to post more vids later. this time with my swapped Chaser.
if playing on the ps2 once you finish a race and it goes in autopilot mode you can eject the disk and it will stay in autopilot then you leave the ps2 on and let the car rack up as many miles as you need. i forgot how many miles it took... but once you get there you can just pop the disk back in and then it would load and then you can continue where you left off with a lot of miles. then go back to the menu and go to upgrades and engine swaps.
Did you guys play any of the original games? Ones that weren't released in the US? Or even TXR:0? To me TXR3 wasn't as enjoyable compared to the previous games. I still play it today but maybe the novelty wore off for me by the time it came out.
i played Tokyo Extreme Racer: Zero. that game was awesome and in some ways i liked it more than TXR3 and in other ways i like TXR3 better. both where great games though.
