Absolutely phenomenal. Very nice work.

(If the blurry part didn't make my head hurt, I'd have it as a wallpaper.)

Thanks guys... I'm going to make another (bigger) desktop, and I'll have it so the second one isn't blurry. Personally, I thought the look was cool, but I can see where you're coming from with the headache factor.

      ( cant describe anything )
btw nicezzz... & look like real pic ... the car body ... ;)

after looking at Mister E's vector I have this strange urge where I want to get an RX-8 and drive the bejesus out of it.

My explanation for the headlights:

Um... Chrome Headlight covers.

I've tried it like 20 times, I cannot get them to look right, no matter what I do.

Susie, it looks really good from what i can see, but the background and all makes it hard to see the detail on the car imo. If you draw around the car and paste in on a single coloured background it should enhance the detail a little maybe (?).

Wooohooo we got stickied everyone, keep the vectors coming :D

wowww nicezz susan ... ;) good job teacher ( u will angry me ) ...hehehe:D

Great! :)
Hopefully my dad doesn't decide to reformat the PC, I lost my Veyron vector, now working on a Saleen S7.

Does it seem to anyone else that the wheels on the MG XPower always look to be moving, even in the still shots?

:odd: aren't these cars cell-shaded rather than vectored?

Mine is some weird style I can't think of a name for yet. Actually... I won't attempt to answer this question. Initial racing does it best.

This cars can actually be considered cel-shaded, and not vectored actually. I had to learn things the hard way. :p
As most of you know, Photoshop is not a vector prog, it doesn't have the capabilites to create true SVG (Scaleable Vector Graphics).

Read somewhere in this thread, there's something said about vector programs. 👍

either its been chopped b4 or maybe its cause of a fast shutter speed? i found the original.. and the wheels aren't spinning ;) just a hint: i did that. lol

Done using Adobe Illustrator 10, I've yet to colour the bodywork/windows/rims etc. etc. It's looking good so far... hope the final result doesn't screw me up.

Oh, and does the picture quality look okay? I had to export the .SVG to a .PSD then save it as a .PNG *whew*

Yeah can't wait to see it finished, looks like a really good start 👍

And it's finally finished.

I screwed up the layers, and I did not do the shading. The original picture of the car had like, just one colour and very few reflections. The word lazy maybe sums up everything well. :D
