That's great to see, awesome to see Rob back and it'll be interesting too see how gets on his return, as we know how competitive the BTCC is currently.

I'm not too surprised that he's made the comeback, as IIRC he was at one of the races last year (can't remember which) as a "VIP" and when he was interviewed he expressed genuine interest in coming back. Just think, if he was to come back imagine how great it'd be if we could that fantastic SEAT return eh? :sly:.

I'm going to say this counts as an Electric Touring Car Series and I'd say how the WTCC should have gone to generate manufacturer and team interest.

Don't ask me why/how but I ended up on racecarsdirect.com and found some interesting adverts.

Firstly, there's a SEAT Leon TCR with pictures of Dan Lloyd's car and states a leading TCR International Series team. However, there are no other cars for Pepe Oriola/James Nash. It could mean absolutely nothing but I just stumbled upon it.

Bring this to the Newcastle(NSW) street circuit this November!

Ingram Goff and Morgan class of the field, nasty for Will Burns, broken ribs after a hit in drivers side door.

Nope, because Neal always gets away with it. He also apparently took out Butcher.

Also in the school of BS moves from ToCA.

And...

Total carnage race 3, Cook needs a total ban whilst Plato is fast becoming the Alonso of BTCC

So, if you're in a Honda nothing happens. Neal never got penalised, Simpson dumped someone off under SAFETY CAR and never got a penalty.

Newsham, Goff, Morgan, Tingram, and a few others yesterday showed how to do touring car racing properly. Elbows out, hard racing, odd small touch but very fair and strong racing, which was shown in their quality of the results. A few more, take note.

Sutton Vs Turkington for the Final today at Brands. Who's your money on?

Chuffed to bits with Moffat there, great win. Sutton can wrap it up R2.

My moneys on Sutton too, as I'm sure he'll focus on backing those points like he's done all year.

First race was good, great job by Moffat, had a fair bit of tough luck since his 1st win at Donnington. Do feel for Turkington, he's had a bit of a mare this weekend, and the championship finale is perhaps the worst weekend for that to happen.

Turks could get done for straight up ramming Moffat at Paddock there.

Agreed, bit naughty from Turks there, very much unlike him to bump and run like that. To be honest I think he should be penalised for that, i.e. results reversed to be behind Moffat. Bit of a shame, as it slightly dampens what was a great charge by Turks, but hey it goes to race 3 so it's all to play for.

I think he got very lucky there. He lines up 10th for race 3, not sure where he'd be had the results been switched between him and Moffat, but Turks got a bit of a free pass there. Clearly stewards thinking about the title in the last race.

Either way, Ash will be just behind him for race 3 with no ballast so it's on. Can tell the tensions built between Turks and Ash, so should be tasty :sly:.

If they'd have dropped him back behind Moffat he'd now be starting further up than he is.

Yea just figured that was probably their notion, as Turks would've started 7th or somewhere like that? Either way, he was perhaps a tad lucky to only points and a a £500 fine. But what's done is done.
