Trial Mountain vs. Grand Valley vs. Deep Forest

Trial mountain easily. I always loved that track, and GT5 has really driven me to dislike the other courses. TM will always have a place in my heart.

Where is Autumn Ring? I really started to like that one every much! Out of these three, I pick Deep Forest before Trail Mountain, Grand Valley is fine to but my least favourite of the three. If you add Autumn and High Speed Ring and SSR5, you'd have all classic GT tracks!

Grand Valley is ultimately my favorite, but I stopped playing it after Gran Turismo 4. It got boring.

It's fairly unchanging.

Out of those 3, i'd say Trial Mountain is last. That one section on the front straight that is so easy to cut just ruins it. They should put a wall there to prevent it completely, and it might make me love it again.

You mean the one just before the finish line, or after?
If it's the one before, short cut penalties prevent anyone from using it.
If it's the one after, then it takes skill to properly cut it without ever lifting and maintaining the best line through the up/down hill esses.

Grand Valley by miles. It's GT's signature track as far as I'm concerned. It has the best balance of speed and sharp corners and it's a little longer than the others. If any GT track were to become real, I'd hope it was that one.

Amoing those I would take Grand Valley Speedway. However, High Speed Ring is my favourite among the classics. I can thank that track for some awesome multiplayer gatherings back in the late nineties! Childhood nostalgia!

Trial mountain is twitchy all the time while grand valley is more about speed.
I see deepforest is kind of in the middle of those two, half twisted half highspeed.
Its tough choice between deepforest vs trial mountain
Trial mountain is a bit easier than deepforest
So I vote deepforest, because its more challenging.

While I'd agree that Grand Valley is the signature track, I definitely prefer Trial Mountain of the three. It's the bumps that make it - really keeps you on your toes at the limit.

Grand Valley is still loads of fun but very sterile. All constant-radius turns, very few kinks or "feature" corners. Also it's particularly flat - there are very few places where the elevation catches you out (I can only think of turn 3/4). I think it's closest to being a real life track.

Deep Forest is my 2nd choice, and it's a close second. I only don't like it because of the large number of slow corners and predictable surface. The last three turns are great though - so much laptime to be won or lost by ragging it out onto the straight. The turn leading onto the back straight is good fun as well - reminds me very much of Spoon at Suzuka.

Between GT3 and GT4, the overhang collapsed and nearly killed a racer. After that, they decided not to rebuild it for safety reasons.

Trial has always been my favourite track with Deep Forest coming a close second.

I like all of them but TM is absolutely brilliant in design and beauty. GVS is slightly better in design but not so beautiful and DF is the most beautiful but not so "tracky". Most a mountainous road. The best visual tracks ever IMO.

All 3 are great tracks, hard to choose but I'll go with Grand Valley Speedway!
