Sorry I could not make the pre-race last night I got caught up with another series I am already in.

Will there be any more pre-races?

The next "main" pre-seasoner is next Tuesday, the 28th, when hopefully we'll have everyone again. I'll be hosting tonight and tomorrow also, for those fewer who can make it.
 
I'll be there tonight, just starting to get used to my car now and it's obscenely good!
 
I apologise for driving like a c-u-n-t last night. I tried to overcome that by letting you guys go ahead. Mistakes happen and this being a tight race, adrenaline got the better of me. Don't expect bull like that again.

I'll keep myself near the back of the pack and work my way up, the more experience the better.

Stay with the guy in front, and just wait for his mistake. Pretend it's just a time trial, and the other cars are just traffic to contend with at leisure.

Fuji's a dodgy track, anyway...

Excellent! Just read through all the info, rules, etc., pick an eligible car and modify it to the regulations. I recommend doing everything you can to it (except perhaps stage 3 weight reduction, if you don't need it). Enter your details (PSN username, car, colour, and (if you want) team name. The next (and final) practice race is this Tuesday.

Question for everyone:

While Triple-S takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays, who may also be available on Mondays and/or Wednesdays? I am considering launching a second series alongside this one. It would either be a Triple-S Class B (276bhp, 1100kg, SH tyre - to cater to FF cars as well), or a GT series (road sports cars, 493bhp, 1300kg, SS tyre).
 
I'd probably be up for that, I have far too much free time.
 
Hey 19L where is the next pre race to take place on Tuesday?
 
I could do monday and Wednesday, would prefer to drive gt cars over low powered ff's
 
Quick question 19L, what kind of ratios would you recommend for daytona road?
 
Gear ratios? Not sure what we'll top out at on the straights/banks, but I'd recommend you add at least 20mph to your red-lined top speed, to allow you to draft a car in front.

Decent run, shame about your dc, xk. Turnout of 4 is better than 3, 2... Suggestion, guys, I heard that you should clear your system cache before entering a lounge. Dunno what this does exactly, it's supposed to help...somehow...

We begin with a GT classic, High Speed Ring! Get the practice in, especially if you're in a box without much aero. You might even want to try it without a rear wing...?! My cat should give you all a good run!! :)
 
Sorry I couldn't make it as, the person with whom I share a ps3, has a race on Tuesdays for 3x, at the same time. :( (As I generally have more scheduled races, I'm obliged to concede for this.)

YES! My Summer holidays are going to start at the end of this week, so plenty of time for racing. :D
 
That dc really annoyed me, i'm not sure what happened. I'll see if that helps for next time but hopefully it'll be ok. For the time I was there it was a good race. My Evo seemed to be a little more competitive than usual until I let it down.

Even though I decided I could not drive the Evo for this series... I would really be interested if you could share with me some tips for tuning & driving the Evo.
I'm doing something way wrong, that's for sure.
The only 4wd car I've been able to tune & drive pretty well so far is the Suzuki Kei car. LOL
But I could immediately see that you were able to do something very different than I could with the Evo!

A good way to tune Evos is to set the AYC to around 80 I believe and increase camber. Go to the tuning section and check out some tunes, you really cotton on to how the pros actually do it and apply the same concept to similar cars. 👍
