Wow dude, the first thing that came to mind after I read this is, you must be insanely jealous. There is no reason for you to rip on this guy at all. This was totally uncalled for. You must have needed an ego boost or something. You are way out of line here. As long as active steering is allowed in an event, there is nothing wrong with using it. You really need to get over yourself and stop putting others down just because they use an allowable aid. I think you need a nap or something.

I don't get fooled at all bro. To each his own. If he wants to use active steering, so be it. Who are you to come on here and start judging people and belittleing them just because they choose to use certain aids. Who died and made you king anyway. I detect a large amount of jealously on your part and you really need to get over it. He has done nothing to you so you really need to stop. You are making yourself look like a jealous fool.

I don't believe you understand what Troll means.. Consistently asking if someone is blind is also not helping your cause. It's probably because you're voicing your viewpoint in a way others don't really understand.

I cant understand why there is so much noice about who or who isnt using AS. I wish I was as good as thoose in the top. I am not and it doesnt bother me if some drivers use As or not. I did on Suzuka and dont know if It was better or not. Did not feel the difference, but I am not as I said a topdriver. I was on 219 yesterday and I compete under the same rules given by PD as the leaders and see no meening in yelling about AS.

If AS is so good as some seems to belive its a very simple thing to activate it and do the toptimes Yinato does. If he gets a challenge to go without it seems fair that the complainers do his times with AS and then sort out whos the best driver. I have not looked on the leaderbord so I really dont know the skills in all drivers so this would be a fun challenge. I can join so you can beat me. No problem I can take that and wont yell about the rules or something else.

By the way I am not using google. I have this poor English and its not an option to translate it in to proper English with a new meening

Nice. Thanks for posting your setup Yinato, much appreciated. I use active steering as well and it has been a big help since I started playing three months ago. As I use a DS3 I feel it helps a lot in correcting inprecise steering input. No idea why someone can get so worked up about it, GT5 is just a game, jeez.

I've also used them as my ghost replays (Eclipsi's too) but found that that didn't help me too much because the ghost has disappeared into the distance after about 3 corners. lol. I just want to say that I think it's really good of you both to share your setups on GTP and, it's also good to see that there is healthy competition between you two, with no bad blood or jealousy between you. After all, it's only a game and a bit of healthy competition between two good players like you surely helps you both to improve your times and push each other harder. It's a shame that FAK-Evil has decided to voice his anger and getting owned by both of you so many times by posting hate on here. If I were you guys I'd take it as a compliment, you are both better than he is and it's getting to him. You guys definitely have the psychological edge over him now =oD

i use a sixxaxis and i found the eclipsee tune a revelation.
ugabugaz improved my time as well,thank you uga.
went from a 2.00.8xx in 214th to a 1.59.8xx and 82nd.
only had a couple of laps so i think there might be a couple of tenths in it for me,but not much more.
gonna have a short break and try out yinatos shelby and camaro tunes.

You're very welcome! Use whatever you feel most comfortable with. It's great having a choice.

Now to the topic of Active Steering. Polyphony left it enabled for a reason. Thus you may use it in the Time Trial. If someone uses it and you don't like that, who are you to judge? If it's there it's to be used. I have a question for you AS haters, Why do you use ABS? I don't think you guys should, Try doing the time trial without ABS.

See how that goes? If it's there, it's to be used. Don't like? Too bad, That's the way things are.

Do I like AS? No, I hate it. I find it to be the work of pure evil I like to be in complete control of my car. Even though AS corrects over-steer, it doesn't snap all of it out, so I don't know when to correct, and when to let it do it's thing, So I have it off. If someone else loves it, great, let 'em use it.

I don't want to get involved but I kinda dissagree.
AS as an aid is a bad aid, a bit worse than SRF. If you use it you don't have to correct your steering input at all, so yes, it makes driving a lot easier so you get addicted to having it easy. On the downside it takes away so much control and that's the only reason I've never used it (but I will use it if it gets me some time, I won't lie).
Now, when someone says that he uses AS all the time he just can't consider himself as a top driver, sorry but that's how things are.
If he said the real reason why he uses AS then I guess none of this would've happen.
