And their second, and their third, and their fourth...

You get my point?
3rd is Dmitry Medvedev.

And on the 4th, Putin started making Ukraine jokes.

Go Netflix, Top Gear (with some other name, off course).
My Thesaurus says "Transmission Summit." Not bad.

Being a recent viewer of the show (only had BBC America on my cable for the past 3 seasons) and having not watched the same thing over and over, I will miss it. Thankfully we have YouTube these days if I start to feel nostalgic.

How about... we watch the 170 episodes already made, about 70 good ones, and leave the memories in tact? Instead of driving this thing into the ground like a cult of personality dictator on life support.

So many vitriol hate on Clarkson here. Id love to be explained why.

He gains a lot of controversy but its still far from "Chris Brown and Justin Bieber" teritory.

Really? Where?

I've not seen anything beyond comments that Clarkson is a nob in here (and from James May) and certainly nothing that has occurred since any of the nine other posts you've made in this thread today - so that's something of a bizarre thing to suddenly pop up with.

YouTube only have some bits. Look out for the older seasons. It is, to this day, very good and entertaining.

I've seen the opposite on this board. A lot of sycophantic adulation and crying that he is gone.

I'm sad because of the show. But I think that justice has been made. You can't punch a co-worker in the face and get away with it.

Someone described it with a football analogy - the punch incident is a straight red card offense... it didn't matter that Clarkson was already on a yellow card (OK, about 5 yellows... it's not a perfect analogy).

Also, if I never see the name John Bishop associated with Top Gear again, it will be too soon.

Suzi Perry
Dermot O'Leary
John Bishop
Adrian Chiles

A veritable Who's That? of competent TG presenters.

Whoever they put in his place, TG is finished. Better cancel it than try to shelve out a substitute that will be embarrassing in comparison.

And on that note looking forward to Clarkson's new car show on another channel 👍

I can't stand John Bishop. He showed just what a tiny-minded and slow-witted lowest common denominator arsebrain he is when he guest-hosted HIGNFY.

Hislop tore him apart. It was glorious.

Chris Evans.
Rowan Atkinson.
Tiff Needell.

That should be worth watching.

I can't imagine Atkinson or Needell, reasonable as they may be, would be able to tolerate Evans for long. The viewers either for that matter. Being a car fan is one thing but it's also important not to be monumentally annoying.

Love to see this but His voice would make me cry  But Rowan Atkinson would nice for it and yah....

That's a weird way to spell Evans. And, yes, there are people who think that Evans is annoying.
I know. I married her.

I don't know about that. They never fired that fat guy from TGUSA.

I think in some way he got what he wanted to be honest, to be done with the show, its been known that he has been wanting to , or at least been thinking about calling it quits, he has had a lot of stuff going on in his personal life , his mum dying ,going through a divorce, most of the higher ups at the BBC dont like him, and not having a hot dinner after a long day of filming was the final straw for him and he was finally done.

If only he could waited three more weeks.

Now I have this mental image of Kim Jong-il's funeral with Clarkson in his place.

real shame that Season 22 and the whole of Top Gear was cut off... 'twas my favorite TV show, ever. But still, even though Clarkson admitted to the public that he was on his "last warning", I can't help but feel that the motion to sack him over the alleged "fracas" is rather rushed. As opposed to what Tony Hall had said, there could have been other options to settle the matter.

No Toyboata?

It's missing some stuff and the Toyota Hilux bit was in 2004 iirc not 2010 , but the intention is there.

"None of this is his fault" (Correct me if i'm wrong , don't have any sound here at work)

(video can't be embeded)

Do you know what this is really ...?
