No, it's built to regulations known as S2000 - "Super 2000", so named because they are built to 2000cc specifications.

Except it's not, it's a Rallycross Fiesta built by Olsbergs Motorsport Evolution. Much much freer regulations to the S2000 ones.

Awesome I love that this thread has turned into the Unbelivable Driving thread .Keep them coming guys if the Mods don't mind.

You may aswell close the thread after I post this vid, there is no match for Jean Ragnotti.

Jean Ragnotti = R5 Turbo Gr. B, can't watch him driving anything else ;)

oh and btw ... no rehearsal, no elaborate gymkhana stuff. Just Ragnotti, now well over 60, parking "his" car in (probably) a Renault classic festival. It's only 14 secs of clip, but they're worth it :D

Ragnotti is the only reason I go to the World Series By Renault every year, just to see him in the 5 Maxi Turbo. He's just as awesome in the Clio Maxi, though.

Hard to tell how good the driving is but the passenger sure is unbelievably entertaining :D

Speech is in Italian and if you know anyone within ear shot that knows the language then it could be considered NSFW.

I never new it was him lol, I love watching him fling that Maxi around.

Ken Block is overrated, all these other guys are doing this while trying to be fast (with the exception of Ragnotti and the stuff he does in the 5 at WSR).

The whole video is classic 2wd rally showing incredible commitment and car control, but the bit at c.1.40s shows just how good the top rally drivers really are... insane skills to catch the slide at such high speed... that would have been a monumental accident had Ari clipped the outside cliff or not got it straight in time for the narrow gate Love it 👍

Here's one of my favorites... Richard Tuthill builds the best classic 911 rally cars going, and he's no mean driver either... here's some footage of him on Sweetlamb (a classic British stage, used extensively in the RAC over many, many years)... note he's wearing shorts and has no helmet on, yet he's still fully committed everywhere

And another one... incredible car control skills here... Drifting in super highly tuned specialist cars? Meh! This is proper drifting...

Great videos here !

I just have to put one more, about a driver rarely mentioned from the GREAT era of Rallying. He wasn't even my favourite (That would be Alen) but he sure was impressive, and effective. Even more so because he looked like a bald old man compared to all the others

I'm talking about the true, one and only ... STIG! :dopey:

Oh yes, Stig could drive 👍

Up there with all my heros from that era. My personal favorite has to be Walter Rohrl... IMO, one of the greatest all round drivers of all time.
