It's funny that this just turned into another wish list

Funny's one word for it.

It seems that all GT Sport threads become wish lists sooner or later :irked:

Aside from the bits @Famine quoted me with above, i also added THIS IS NOT A WISH LIST in caps in the title after the last one became wishful thinking too...

Realistic predictions? Well... I'm pretty sure this is wrong because R3E has exclusive rights to DTM, Gr2 will be Super GT for now.
Or maybe PD can make : audi rs5 super gt, mercedes c63 super gt and bmw m4 super gt 💡:embarrassed::mischievous: so ,no exclusivity problem 👍

As I said those cars & tracks I said about are ones I would like see in Gt sport :gtpflag:

Which in itself is fine. But this is a thread for predicting what you think PD will actually place in the game.

I don't particularly want any of the cars in my own list, but looking at what content was in previous major update, these are the cars i'm expecting. Not the cars i'm wanting.

Well I would like to have all jay leno cars in this game he really got nice selection of cars.
If Jay's cars were to be featured in GT Sport, I do not think the Tank Car will return just because of how 'different' it is. If it did return, it would be Gr. X. The '66 Olds Toronado would be more realistic to return but I think PD would feature a new Leno vehicle in the series. I can say that PD would likely feature Jay Leno's 1955 Buick Roadmaster 'Rosebud'. Like the 1966 Oldsmobile, his Buick is a sleeper. It has a 620HP ZZ 572ci motor in it.

Id have to say, what a mouth watering looking automobile.

These may not come this update but maybe next update.

-Chris Forsberg's Drift 370z
-Honda Civic '91 2017 GT Awards

These were scanned in November and it takes 6 months to complete a car, therefore these might come out in May.

My predictions for the April DLC based off PDs previous methods. A little more race car heavy. I'm wondering if they would add GT300 after adding GT500?

Returning GT6 cars (10 total)
Dodge Challenger SRT8 Touring Car (Gr. 4)
DeltaWing '12 (Gr. 1)
2013 NASCAR models (ford, chevy and toyota) (New Gr)
Autobacs Garaiya GT300 Base Model '08 (Gr 3?)
Lexus IS350 GT300 Base Model '08 (Gr 3?)
Subaru BRZ GT300 Base Model '12 (Gr 3?)
Subaru IMPREZA GT300 Base Model '08 (Gr 3?)
Lamborghini Murciélago LP 640 '09 (N x00)

New cars to the series
New Supra obviously (Gr 3/Gr X?)
And probably something else

Tracks
Dragon Trail - New layouts
Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca

--

Scapes
Race car garage - Wind tunnels, paint booth, car on jacks, near other race cars, haulers, etc

That’s a good point actually I hadn’t thought of that, perhaps we will get Dragon Trail - Mountain Pass or something!

Perhaps Dragon Trail Static Caravan Park - which takes a sharp right half way towards the 1st turn and zig-zags between a grid pattern of neatly turned out caravans before joining again at the bus stop section. Or Dragon Trail Pitch-and-Putt where you thread it under a windmill and exit through a large glassfibre dragons mouth?

I don't predict any new tracks this month as Tsukuba was only a month ago. A new layout this month perhaps for Dragon Trail (And it's reverse). Dragon Trail - No Through Road as they cant find a way to get through the village? More seriously, If another Dragon Trail variant I predict it being through the town a la Citta D'Aria.

I've no idea about cars but think only one or two race cars this month as March was very race car centred with Super GT and the Red Bull Awesome-mobile Junior. Apart from the Supra, it could be anything OR NOTHING.

Going forward, I think there will be another track end of May or end of June which fits the prior release pattern. I predict this as being Pikes Peak (if in June i predict it being timed to coincide exactly with the hill climb vent which is on 24 June). We know they have had the exclusive licence for at least a year, so it has to be coming to GT Sport or the next game. Bearing in mind prior releases such as Red Bull Ring being released on the grand prix weekend, it would be consistent. If it took 2 years to do the Nordschleife then 2 years to complete Pikes Peak would be about right. If Pikes Peak doesn't appear June 2018 because not yet ready, I predict June 2019.

I don't think we will see again an actual city track on PS4. It's simply too much work for an outdated hardware. Look at Tokyo R246 and imagine all the shop windows, buildings rendered at 4k.
Another point, it's a safe bet to think that Poly has something big at E3. Even if Forza Horizon will be the star of racing games at E3, I'm sure a good trailer for Pikes Peak or even better (bikes!) could do wonders.

For sure, the toyota supra gr concept is coming. As for the other cars, I think it will be (all are just wild guesses, but be surprising to see them):
Lambourghini Miura
Mini 1.3i
Honda NSX '91
Ford Mustang Boss 302
Aston Martin DB5
De Tomaso Mangusta (wild guess, but more de tomaso cars would be cool)
Ford RS200
Alpine A610 '92
Jaguar XJ220 '93
Ferrari F50

Tracks... Ive seen another layout next to Tsukuba circuit that looks very detailed, which I am kinda sure it will be part of this update.

Deep Forest would just be awesome to have, but may not arrive.

It could be any track tbh...

Alright.
We know that the Supra concept racer is coming. And I’m going to assume that this is significant for this entire DLC. That, and the new Gr.2
So all cars are going to be racecars.
Ford GTE ’17
Aston Martin V8 Vantage GTE ’18
Ferrari 488 GT3 ’17
Bentley Continental GT3 ’18
BMW M8 GTE ’18

And as complimental to Gr.2;
Nissan R390 Longtail ’98
Panoz Esperante GR1 ’97
Mercedes AMG CLK-LM ’98
McLaren F1 GTR Longtail ’97
Porsche 911 GT1 EVO98 ’98
Toyota GT-One TS020 ’98

Tracks will also be related to the above mentioned; Fuji is Toyotas home track.
And the WEC season opener is just around the corner, and takes place at Spa-Francorchamp.

I wonder if some day we will see the new M2 Competition considering the previous collaboration witm BMW with the M4 in GT6. I'd love to have the car as a nice suprise in any of the coming updates :P

Nxxx
NSX '91
Stielow Red Devil Camaro
Pagani Huayra '13
190E EvoII '91
Mk3 Focus RS
Escort Cosworth
Mini Cooper S '11
Evo6 (Mine's?)
370Z

Gr.2
SC430 SuperGT

Gr.3
Supra GR

Gr.B
Celica GT-FOUR (ST205) Rally

I see some of the road cars as being prep work, along with some of the recent releases, for Gr.A if it is coming. I think Fuji or Motegi are likely candidates for an RL track with the addition of Gr.2. They could make shorter layouts for Dragon Trail but I'm not sure I see that as likely. Deep Forest seems to be higher percentage in my view.

Going by previous updates adding 80s and 90's Japanese sports cars I'd say the Mitsubishi GTO and original Honda NSX are probably a good shout.

A Mini of some sort as well as they added the library to Mini in the last update, probably the most recent Cooper S although given that the old and new Alpine A110 were included a few months ago maybe an old and new Mini together.

Pretty confident of a Mercedes 190 Evo 2 to compliment last months BMW M3 E30.

4 more 2016 Super GT cars.

A former Sema show winner.

That's 10

Tracks - Deep Forest and Deep Forest reverse.

Has the Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale or the racing version ever been in a GT game? It looks like it's been in AC and Forza. Seems like a perfect compliment to the Ferrari 330 and Jaguar XJ13.

I can just picture this with a redbull livery, rothmans livery, gulf livery, martini livery, etc, etc....

Right now I just want confirmation PD are continuing with the monthly DLC rollouts. Beyond the Audi and Supra I’ve seen no confirmation this will continue. Just broad discussions about total number of cars/tracks.....no idea on the format of delivery/pricing structure.

For a GaaS that’s pretty crucial stuff for the community to know.

What does that even mean?

It seems from 2012-2015, Kaz had an agenda at Pebble Beach. He was selecting gorgeous race cars from a very specific window of time (1952-54)-

'12- 1954 Ferrari 500 Mondial
'13- 1953 Aston Martin DB3S
'14- 1954 Maserati A6GCS Spyder
'15- 1952 Cunningham C-4R Competition Roadster

Now as we know, Kaz is a huge fan of the "dream race" idea. The 1967 Le Mans trio were the most notable "storyline" selection of Gran Turismo 5, with the Ford Mark IV '67, Ferrari P4 330 '67, and Jaguar XJ13 '66.

Given this, I'm guessing in an update soon, if PD releases a Pebble Beach car, they will release more than one at that time so the fans can actually race the cars against each other and have the multi-million prize car race that can never happen in real life again.

So I don't know if it will be two at a time, or even three or all four, but hopefully this helps someone with their predictions!
