Well I am not sure he and his followers are the first folks I would have thanked for the state of science nowadays :D

My father just had both eyes done with cataract surgery and he is extremely happy with the result, no more 🤓

The amount of vision restored exceeded what my Doc expected. The surgery on the left eye has resolved some color blind issues along with clarity. My right is looks like a window that had baloney smeared all over it! The surgery itself only takes 6 minutes!!!
 
My update was 18Gb for some reason, and it keeps wigging out. I guess this is one time to be glad my save is online, at least I can't corrupt it easily :D

EDIT: I moved the game back to the internal drive and the update worked fine, 225Mb. I got my mil in the gifts too.

I love how they give us a credit ticket instead of just ninja-adding 1M to our balance :D I expected nothing else.

It is by far the more robust way to handle it for several reasons. Chiefly because the actual process of adding credits takes place in the game at runtime using existing bug-tested scripts. This means it cannot be exploited and the chance of corruption is greatly reduced.

Notice: Update 1.09​

The following is a list of the main features for Update 1.09 for Gran Turismo 7.

Improvements and Adjustments​

1. Daytona International Speedway
　- Fixed an issue where swerving suddenly into the pits on the Tri-Oval and Road Course caused the pitstop sequence to be skipped, and the car going straight to the exit.

2. Sport & Lobby
　- Fixed a very rare issue where an application error would occur in an online race or Lobby when entering a race event.

3. My Page
　- Fixed an issue where the stats for Clean Races, Fastest Laps, Pole Positions and Victories in the "Sport" category in the Profile section would not display correctly.
　- Fixed an issue where the value for the "Races" statistic in the "Sport" category in the Profile section was displayed as double the correct amount.

4. Others
　- Fixed a rare issue where the game progression would reset if the game was started with an unstable network connection.

A new update for Gran Turismo 7 is now available, bringing with it some fixes for persistent bugs and glitches. The v1.09 update is relatively compact, coming in at just under 350MB on PlayStation 5 (225MB on PlayStation 4).

Yep and these came at a very welcome moment! ☺️

This morning I woke up at 6 AM and was surprised to see the Sauber C9 still available at the LCD (I expected it would be sold out today). I grinded Trial Mountain Cup for a while and ended at 1.8 mill Cr., then logged off for work but was uncertain I could grind the remaining 1.2 mill this evening, since I will go out to enjoy the sun and drinks first.

And then the 1 mill Cr. dropped in my gift box. Just grinded the remaining 200K Cr. during my lunch break (I’m working from home 😎) and the C9 is already in my garage. Glad to get this car since I didn’t have any Gr.1 car yet and don’t want to buy one from Brand Central. In fact, I don’t buy anything from brand central apart from invitations and the Tomahawk S VGT (my Trial Mountain Cup grinding car).
