'Twas a joke :P Seriously, why do they have two number panels, both of which are huge?

Very nice update! Can't wait to drive at Spa!

Most likely. I'm assuming we'll get a sunrise and sunset, maybe a dusk and dawn. Lucky if we get night, since they didn't even do that for Circuit de la Sarthe

Even the Nürburgring Nordschleife isn't really a night setting. You can see the dusk or at least some "red shimmering" from the sun on the horizon. A 2 AM time of day would be awesome.

Nice to see the "red pig" in GTS....but a shame that classic race cars like this one is putted in the Gr.X group instead of making PD new groups...

I got quite some fun with this Merc in pcars 1 & 2,in the second game it was in a class together with a bmw2002 stancework and a ford escort

Will be great to compare the car from Pcars2 with the incoming one on GTS 👍

I'll promise to make a video comparisons someday.

My internet is being dumb, can someone post the text of the update news list? Like the text description of what’s in the update? Thanks.
Spa dry, Spa wet, Spa scapes, four cars, seven races.
Any news on prices for the cars...........I want that Taycan!!!!!!!!!!! I'll gladly whore myself if needs be! :D
The store prices in NZ are:
Lamborghini: $4.85
Mazda: $1.65
Mercedes: $4.85
Porsche: $3.25

That puts them in the ballpark of
Lamborghini: 1,000,000-2,500,000cr
Mazda: <100,000cr
Mercedes: 1,000,000-2,500,000cr
Porsche: ~250,000cr

Can't wait for Spa! And the 3 out of the 4 cars.

Be sure to experience Eau Rouge in cockpit view of the F1. It's the first thing I will do. :gtpflag:

I wonder what sort of miscellaneous changes could be coming, beyond the new cars, track, and GT League rounds? Stuff like QoL/UI changes, and they're usually in a list of notes found at the bottom of the official articles that review each update. They may include stuff like some bugfix notes, too.

EDIT: I don't see anything on the official site's pages for the update - maybe these notes are usually within the in-game "Update Details" series of newsletter articles? It seems like this was the case for 1.43, where they only seem to mention the bugfixes and "other improvements" within the "Update Details" article that one can also view in-game.

Sounds good. At any rate, I'm looking forward to the GT League events. I bet that all the events listed as getting new rounds will be specifically getting a round at Spa (with some being dry, and some wet), as we can already see from the preview of the new Gr.4 Cup rounds. I'd imagine Spa would be where the additional X2019 Endurance Series round will be, as well, given that a X2019 race on that track was featured in the FIAGTCs.

As for other rounds, I could see Nostalgic 1979 getting a round at Big Willow, and the Real Circuit Tours getting a round at Monza, or perhaps Brands Hatch.

In the next update after this, I could definitely see rounds at Spa coming to the Gr.1 and Gr.3 events in the Endurance League, as well as in the Professional and Amateur Leagues, respectively. Since Spa is also a part of F1, I could see rounds with that track also coming to the AMG Grand Prix, the F1500T-A event, and maybe either of the other two Red Bull events, with the X2014 Jr. and X2014 Standard. With the Jaguar VGT coming next month, I could also see new rounds coming to either of the VGT Trophy events, too, as well as rounds that compliment the newly-added Demio and Aventador SV - namely in the World Hatchback Championship and the Lamborghini Cup. I could also see Electric Circuits being an event returning from GT6, now that the Taycan will be added. (Even if it's only two or three cars that'd be eligible, that didn't seem to be an issue for events like the Supra or Fairlady Z events.) Perhaps even the Premium Sports Lounge could get new rounds, as two of the three road cars in this update would be eligible for it.

It's still a bit odd that the Spec II moniker was picked when this update (which comes right after its retail release) isn't v2.00, but I wouldn't say this completely rules out a jump to v2.00 altogether. I really wanna see those HRE wheels, too, and potentially more suits/helms, given that I recall seeing a Simpson decal in the default library. (And I think Simpson helms were in GT6, too.) Being able to use the PD-made liveries would be great, too, even including those hypebeast brand liveries, or the Michelin-themed NSX Gr.3 from some events.

MAybe some didn't notice the pic I posted of the SUper Taikyu Demio... it's a diesel. The standard diesel model has less hp than the petrol 1.5, but much more torque. Could be the first diesel model in game since the BMW 120d. We got the Hybrid Fit instead of a normal ICE version. Could be PD's odd choice to again, include a "different" take on giving us a new model.

NOW THIS LOOKS FUN. RED BULL JUNIOR TROPHY CUP RACE AROUND HERE WOULD BE FUN AS WELL

I am surprised out of all the tracks being requested that is usually a main stay with Gran Turismo. I can not believe no one is asking for Twin Ring Montegi. Suzuka is my all time fav in the Land of the Rising Sun however Montegi comes in at a very close second.

2 new races in the pre-1979 nostalgic group; I guess we get to find out quickly if the '71 Mercedes SEL can compete with the legendary Green Ferrari 512S.

Now we have 10 classic race cars pre 80's:

- Alfa Romeo GIULIA TZ2 '65
- Aston Martin DB3S '53
- Chevrolet Corvette StingRay Racer '59
- Ferrari 250 GTO '62
- Ferrari 330 P4 '67
- Ford Mark IV '67
- Jaguar D-type '54
- Jaguar XJ13 '66
- Mercedes-Benz 300 SEL 6.8 AMG '71
- Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe '64

and maybe in the future comes:
- Porsche 917K
- Porsche 550 S
- Classic Le Mans/GT´s race cars from other manufacturers

It´is necessary reworked at least this kind of cars, some other new group with classic cars, not all of the soup with different flavors in the GR.X.

Cannot wait for tomorrow night when I can playtest this update!

I wonder though, regarding the Michelin update. When the partnership was announced, they mentioned that the first Michelin update would be in October. We did get Michelin content in the September update, but that was purely just branding but no gameplay affecting changes, so I always assumed that the first "proper" Michelin update would arrive now in the October update, as originally announced.

Unlikely, but possibly there will be some tire physic changes this time around?

But I guess, more likely, the October planned Michelin update was released ahead of schedule in September.

Looking forward to see the patch notes :)

Seeing as the FIA finals are in Monaco, maybe, just maybe there's a chance on this one...

I hope, but last year at Monaco event, we didn't have the track.
But with P-Digital we never know if, or when, a content coming. So, I'm cool, I'm happy with each update... and one day... my content will coming :D.

I just want Monaco and a Merco 300SL (ever in GT6).
