There's already some of the Porsche tanks in the game, but none of the experimental ones.

Also the VK4501 is in the game as a premium. Haven't seen it on the PS4 client yet though. That might be something I'll have to put money down on.

Edit: Solved the issues with flight controls. Switched to simplistic from real so I've got some instructor support when I need it. Now I can focus on dogfighting and not have to put all of my focus into not crashing the plane. Since switching, I've probably racked up more kills in the last 2 days than I had in the previous month.

That Beaufighter cannon though... :drool: For the one kill I've managed to get, all it took was a single burst to destroy the fighter I shot down.

Edit: KV-1 is turning out to be not fun at all. Getting completely destroyed by Shermans and Panzers in 2-3 shots.

Try turning the hull under an angle to the enemy fire, to increase the chance of ricochet. Like this.

The "escorting Sturmoviks" mission has returned. After seeing Squireflyer's video on this "unfair event" I wanted to give it a go.

That is the most one-sided affair I've ever seen. :lol:

I've played this mission 4 or 5 times on my 'French' Yak-1B and never lost...
This Yak is a good fighter, and if there aren't many 109 'Friedrichs' in the enemy team, you have a big chance to win.

Ferdinand, Tiger II and Tiger P (VK4501) are already in the game. They have gasoline engines (the first two have a Maybach one).

Oh ok. That is pretty good actually. 4 20mm cannons are deadly.

The next 2 have the same cannons but they have MGs added as well.

The Beaufighter is a fantastic torpedo bomber as well.
 
Anyone know what tanks are available for the Combined Sim Battles? I know it's USSR + USA vs Germany I just need to know what tiers.

Speaking of which, @GTPorsche how were you able to get passed that Sim Flight tutorial on the PS4? I can't get that plane off the ground. It still tilts as soon as the game tells me to use the elevators. *Yes I used those controls you posted but it didn't work, so I went back to defaults*

It took a few attempts, but if you let the plane level out before taking off, you can build up more speed which makes it easier to get off the ground. That's also my typical strategy for takeoffs. Build as much speed up as possible while using as much runway as possible before starting my climb. Gives me more energy to get up to altitude faster.
 
Just went 8 and 1 on Mozdok. Granted it was an arcade battle but dammit I never do good on Mozdok.

Gaijin took the flag decals and placed them behind 500GE paywalls. Their excuse is to prevent trolling based on the flags. :rolleyes:

Luckily the US flag in allied tanks are still there... I might just use the space that my flag isn't taking up for other customization instead of displaying a flag.

Didn't know it was. I love it only problem I have is camera misbehaves during sharp turning, but everything else is perfection

Also, if I could offer up a few tips.. I know it's arcade in that video and ammo reloads, but the wild spraying of bullets is not effective. I also noticed in your setup, that your targeting distance is 800. That's 800 meters and on the very edge of bullet effectiveness. Reduce that to 400-600 and line up your shots before firing and you'll do much better. Also, when it comes to ground targets, line them up and hit them within .60km. You'll hit your shots more and take them out quicker.

Go into options, find an option in views for "mouse usage" and change that to "no". The touchpad on the DS4 is very sensitive. That happened to me all the time until I changed the setting.
