Oh, yeah.... Invader Advanced Pack on PSN.

Comes with the A-26C, 15 days of premium and 2000GE, all for the low price of $19.99. Never really looked at what was available on PS4 for the game.

I unlocked mine the hard way. :p

Oh wait...I have the A-20G.......................................WHOOPS!

A-20G came before the A-26. :p

There was a laptop you could buy at one point that came with a code for the A-26C-45, and it was also a summer event gift in 2013, but I don't think it's shown up again like that since. I guess I wasn't around at the right time to get the A-26C-45DT that was apparently available for all PS4 players at some point.

I have the A-26C Invader you guys are talking about. It was bundled with some gaming laptop. My friend who bought that laptop but doesn't play WT sold it to me. Much cheaper than it's normally sold separately. :D

P.S. Tested the J8M1 (Ki-200), damn... wait 5 minutes to join an RB and fly 5 minutes because it's all the fuel capacity allows. :D I mean, before refuel. Can't go away from the airfield too far.

Soviet jets are OP as 🤬.

Isn't everything Soviet in this game OP to some extent? :P

Any of you PC players that haven't read my review, I picked up the steam controller recently. I gotta say, this is a nice compromise for people who would rather play with a proper stick, or a controller, but dont want to lose their asses to mousers. After one session, I am already nearly as good at attacking and better at evading than I am with a mouse. And with some adjustments to sensitivity I think I can match my performance on the attack. If anyone is on the fringes about getting a controller for this game, I highly recommend this one, at least so far for the plane side of things. I'll be testing it out soon with tanks, though I am expecting much of the same due to the way the controller works.

My problem with a mouse is constantly moving it to get a sharper turn, where as just pointing it where you want to go seems to get you there as slow as Moses.. I'm getting better at that, but it's a quirk to playing PC. There's a lot more control you do get with a mouse v controller of any type, so I'm not going to switch back now.

I used my joystick a while and it makes sense fore sim battles, but other than that it's just an over glorified controller, with no advantage...

This controller acts more like a mouse, and at the outer edges you can set it to take that position at full "turn" I guess you could say, I'll see about taking a video to show better what I mean. Anyway, I was really skeptical that this would be as good as a mouse, but to be honest, I personally feel it is better. I think its because it emulates a mouse, but you don't have to traverse your desk with the mouse constantly and the little movements have more precision. This is because you can set the pad to be sensitive to the speed you move your finger, so sensitivity, and thus the speed at which the "cursor" moves speeds up. Conversely, as you move your thumb slower, the sensitivity will scale down, smoothing out the controls as you zero in on your target. I plan on breaking this down more in depth over the next week for the review, but it may be one of those things you need to experience to believe.
Also, I personally set my wasd keys for max roll and pitch, makes it easier for those evasive maneuvers.

I think a good strategy with that and the Komet is to gain as much altitude as possible, and then glide as much as possible. You can take that 5 minutes and stretch it further.

Haven't played ground forces sim in a long time.

I just perfectly baited an enemy, but overestimated the shooting ability of my teammate. :banghead:

Edit: Ki-44-1 is not a good plane at all.

Holy 🤬! Last night I was in AB with my T-34...I took out 8 other tanks, and lived! I've never done that before, it was exciting, and I got a lot of money. :O

T-34 are great tanks at tier 2 and not many of the other nation tank can penetrate them. With the T-34 you run in and take on as many tanks and live.
Definitely. Last night I went on a tear though with Russian planes and tanks, best I've ever done (I even made MVP! ). Heck I got kills with that Zis-30 junior tank destroyer artillery piece thing even.

That reminds me I never got around to editing that video I had saved...

Edit: Ki-44-I is awful. Slow firing guns, poor maneuverability. Only thing good is that it's fast.... but boom and zoom is near impossible due to the poor guns.

The Shoki is definitely a bomber hunter. Does it come with the 20mm cannons or just the 4 12.7 MGs?

Oh, that seems off from its typical arrangement of four 12.7 or two 12.7s and two 20mms. There was also a variant that ran two 40mm. But I didn't realize there was a variant with two 7.7s.

Yeah I've learned that hard way, that, and run like 🤬 from the 105mm Howitzer equipped Shermans...especially because of the hull charge. :scared:
The German tanks now have an uneventful occurrence of any artillery near 50m basically knocks out your tracks and engine.

Another thing I want disabled is the auto repair... I tried turning my Jagditger that only had one track to kill a M46 that was about to flank me, but it kept stopping and going to repair... SO FRUSTRATING

It's the Ki-44-I. You're thinking of the later variants.

PC so far, but I'm not sure if it happens only when you're in a cap or not. I noticed that whenever you're in a cap, you reload one shell about every two seconds to you tanks, which in some cases is good, but other times when you want to stay low on ammo not to get wrekt, it's annoying as hell..

I'm also getting fed up with this MM... Why can't my 6.7 Ferdi only face other 6.7 tanks.. These 7.0+ russian/american tanks with fin stabilized rounds piss me off so much.
