Yeah, I wasn't surprised when I saw that as the pace car  , but If PD had the American as well as European cars from GT2 I would have been more than happy.

I think the Muscle Car Selection in GT2 was pretty nice, I would've been more then happy if they just added them, and Pontiac I would've been happy with 10,000 skylines

2005 :) 05 Is the one that gets the nice Autocross (as in my icon) its going to be a wicked car.

A 69 Judge would've been AWSOME God What cool cars.

I wonder why the he** firebirds didnt make it? A 2000 WS6 Would've been great! and the 2002 Indy Car would've been bad A**!!!

Hell no that ain't alot of cars! Not in comparison to 750+ cars. Couldn't they just find the time to add those in? They were given nearly 2 years from the original release date to get their crap sorted out. I mean, they do want Americans playing this game right?

The L88 did not have 550-600HP, it may have been closer to 500HP at best, but even then, it was rated in gross HP which is far from today's net HP rating. The 2002-2004 C5 Z06 is the quickest Corvette ever built to date, the 2006 C6 Z06 will be the new king of the hill later this year.

And for the record, the ZL1 was the most powerful old school engine ever produced, not the L88.

You do know that a ZL1 is just an aluminum L88, right?

Edit
http://www.fast-autos.net/chevrolet/chevrolet.html

"The L88 engine, offered in 1967 through 1969, was a racing engine offerered to the public for use on the street. Although listed at only 430 hp, the engine's real output was more like 600 hp. "

"Factory claims listed the L88 V8 producing 430 hp, but dyno testing on a '68 L88 found it had 560 hp. "

"On the dragstrip, the ZL-1 (camaro) ran a 10.41 sec @ 128 mph 1/4 mile with racing slicks. "

"The '69 Corvette ZL-1 is claimed to be the fastest production Corvette EVER produced. With racing slicks, the ZL-1 is capable of running the 1/4 mile in only 10.5 seconds. "

Yeah, do you have any 1/4 mile stats? All I know is that it's got the 7.0L LS2, but no times.

To show pics click the
insertimage.gif
and paste in there.

Chevrolet Claims the '06 Z06 does the following:
0-60mph: 3.9 seconds
1/4 Mile: 11.9 @ 120mph
Top Speed: 190mph+

I still cant figure out that Picture thing, so heres a few links

first year of stacked headlights, theres a Rumor that they are going to do something involving the Tri Power name for the 05-06 GTO, but I havent heard anything on it in a long long time

~edit
LoL though seriously thats fast for a 65

Yep thats it, I just realized something.

PD Added the 64 Temptest Which is cool, The Temptest had the "GTO" Package, thus naming it the Temptest GTO that continued until 1965

SO in 1966 Pontiac Gave the GTO Its own Line, no longer sharing the Temptest Name, It sold 96,646 Units that year, the Highest in muscle Car history, WHY wasnt it added? I mean in 66 It was the Birth of the "True" GTO rather then the Temptest with the GTO Package
