Oh that’s the reason at some point you were more than 20” behind!!! You pitted!

Well consider that 10 minutes from race end you were almost 15/20 secs behind but you reached me because the tires were finished.
So it was an interesting test of the two different strategies (pit/no pit).
But yes, I agree that we should set accelerated wear. I don’t know what would be the effect of racing with higher temperatures either.

Was the tyre the same as in Sicks, room, first few laps, I did't have the same grip. Also on the practice, seemed take a while to heat up.

The tyres were the same (Hard slick) but I think the date was different because ambient temperature was only 16 degrees.

Weather was set to light cloud > heavy cloud > clear, thats why tires were cold

Testing - Help Wanted

I have started testing for future multi-class series: Classic Touring Cars and Seventies Sports Cars, but would like some help to check my results. It is particularly helpful to get test results from some faster drivers to check the approximate lap time differences between cars. You can use any track - pick one (or two) which you know well enough to get consistent results on and let me know your times either by posting on this thread or by sending me a message.

NB I will be posting this message on both threads - the series are most likely to be held on Mondays in late 2018 or early 2019.

It’s effectively in Leeds.

According to my experience it is very likely that I won’t be allowed to take pictures... Well, to be honest nowadays they take your phone away in any kind of factory.

Not much in the lap times between us all, good race until my headphones went off, had stop turn up TV. Hope I didn't bump anyone, we all going at quite a pace, in start of race.

Nice to see Flaco back on track as well.

It was a bug. I got extra lap somehow and passed Rich, Friday and Simba while they were doing cool down lap. @AndreasR tables also isn't really corect, because I wasnt lapped by leaders and finished on the same lap

After accident at start and drop to last position I saw small chances fight with Rich, gap was about 5 seconds and half race ahead, but on the straight got random PS button, run in to wall and lost 12 seconds. They must do something with thease random buttons preasures

Do we know which results are correct? I know sometimes the game is wrong. I think I will need to watch the replay and watch each car over the line, but I won't be able to do that until later - if anyone could do it today and post the definite results in the thread it would be greatly appreciated.

I noticed at the end of the race that I had been lapped by the leaders - DD84UK, Tavilha and Napalm, then a tight group of three was right behind me for the last few laps. I was trying to keep ahead of them, but was watching the gap ready to give way when suddenly the gap increased which suggests that the game finished their race while I was still racing. In other words I finished on the same lap as 5th place down. The app used by @simba appears to be giving everyone an extra lap and is giving me one less lap than a group of drivers who did not lap me - the race finished before they had the chance to gain that lap.

Acctually I stoped race after finish but released what AI didnt drive a car so I did one more lap (31 at all) and passed Friday, Simba and Rich while their cars drove AI-s and finished 3. I dont complaint due to this position

That’s weird. I expected the game to finish the race as I circulated the last metres with the countdown at 0:00. That didn’t happened and I carried on. Maybe because ping and general lag some people actually finished the race when I first crossed the line at 0:00 and some other people was let to carry on.

Race report:

Qualifying in first was all about braking as late as possible and traibraking. Such a short track allow little opportunities to make time.

Off the line I had a slow start as usual. People tend to get better starts as I do for some reason I need to work out.

Then disaster. I had a small contact with @Tavilha and some other driver passed me as well. On the next corner he spun, and with me being so close I inevitably crashed into him. I went off and waited as I thought it was @Friday_GTRP but apparently he had his own battles and was already at the back of the field.

After that it was a case of recovering leading positions on a track where overtaking was complicated and making faster laps than others tricky.

In the end I was trimming my gap with @Tavilha until he spun. I then managed to create a small gap which I maintained until the end of the race.

Sour taste for the last race although winning the championship.

Really looking forward to the next championship, where tight races with @Friday_GTRP and @Tavilha are guaranteed.
