Not all of us like poutine, though - I've had it twice and thanks. There are other things I'd like to spend my time eating. The fancy 'french cordon-bleu' name of course is simply marketing - it's a bunch of fries (chips - fingers) with melted 'curds' (soft cheese) drowned in a malty sort of gravy.
Right now it's one of the 'Toonie' deals ($2.00 meals) so very popular with the kids as a school lunch - if they have a Pizza Pizza nearby. Nice salad, too - a toonie. A buck for a pop (soda) and five bucks gets you a decent lunch. Or three or four Hotwheels and starve.
It was home-made the first time I ate it - so that was that - I wasn't interested any more. But my kids dragged me off to the Pizza pie store, and forced me to have one. To my kids I'm just a grown up puppet whose strings are easily pulled using mass amounts of guilt.

Shem - escargot in Philo-dough, served with strawberries drizzled in chocolate sauce. Need to 'nationalise' that, LOL.

I ate 1/4th of a grilled steak, the one my uncle served me was mostly raw, couldn't eat it, so I had to wait for about 40 minutes for the rest of the meat to cook. I don't want to get any food borne illness

Anyone familiar with the all you can eat Ice Cream service at Pizza Hut?

I went yesterday, and instead of filling a bowl with Ice Cream and adding a few toppings. I filled the whole bowl with Chocolate Buttons (Topping) - and then dazzled them in chocolate sauce. I was actually sick when we left the place...

Totally worth it!

Yes, I did cook the bloody thing.

Lamb from NZ is very popular with meat-eaters around here - though it can be expensive, especially the top grade cuts. Fish is pretty much the same.

When it comes to chicken or pork, though - it can be cheaper that buying good veggies.

One pound for all you can eat ice cream! I'm going down Pizza Hut later!

Just had some porridge with golden syrup, sugar and raisans!

Had some durian as dessert. Now sipping on some tequila.

Been in love with most jelly beans since I was little. My mom used to have them in a hair salon she worked at when I was 4, and I could eat the entire jar myself (jar was a foot tall and a 8 in base.)

Not even joking... Dandelions. Actually eating the flowers. They taste great with a little blue cheese dressing. Instead of tossing em in the bin from the garden, pick em, wash, then enjoy!

The flavor is akin to honey, romaine lettuce, and cabbage. Not bad tasting.

Experiencing: someone drinking wine. What time is it for this person? I have to wait sveral hours more to even mention drinking wine.

Is the world somewhere else right now? Lucky man, DG_Silva.

For me it's tea time so a quick tea break (though it's probably my fifth or sixth cup.)

Whine.. . .

It's the middle of Friday afternoon, what the hell are you doing still at work. Call it the end of the working day, bugger off to the pub and get yourself a drink!

BTW, it's 9pm here...

two quick ham & cheese sandwich with onions. A bit too lazy to cook a bigger meal

Somewhere, someone is probably reporting to work with a hangover.

I, however, am disappointed to see the bottom of Lynchburg:

Being my own boss, I guess I can report late to work tomorrow. ;)

Curry with Rice, followed by 2 slices of toast with butter with a companion can of Red Bull. Followed by Oreos.

Like a boss.
