We had an Arby's in our city, once. The food was so DISGUSTING, health code violations shut them down. Then, Arby's corp pulled out. Then, or city leveled the building down. Now, it's just a square plot of dirt in the middle of a parking lot. They once had decent food there, back in the early to mid 1980's, though.

Must depend on the location. The Arby's near me is absolutely amazing . Others, not so much .

And if that's the case, how McDonald's manages to stay in business is beyond me. To me, their food is NASTY :yuck:. I'm surprised that very few of their stores were shut down.

Potato Pie and Peas
Potato-top pies are delicious 👍

Recently had a craving for some old fashioned lemonade so I bought some yesterday. I didn't see the bottle and turns out it was limeade, which is still pretty good but not what I wanted :dunce:

Had to help out at a cultural festival today so I went across to the shops and found some of the lemonade. So good .

I blame you for my sudden craving for limeade now.

Instead I have to make do with eating a barbeque chicken pizza.

I"m eating 5 tacos my grandma bought me from a Mexican store. One with Ground beef with Pico de Gallo, and the other with Beef Brains (3 beef brains and 2 with ground beef)

Arby's mid-sized roast beef with curly fries and a Dr. Pepper.

EDIT: And now I want more even though I'm not hungry. It's so damn good.

I love their roast beef with cheddar.

Just came back from having Szechuan...they had a special on a lamb... shoulder(?) and it was super delicious. They lightly fried it after cooking so we got a crispy surface which was nice. The aroma of the cumin was delightful, and I love the smell of cumin. The best part of it was that the lamb odour wasn't strong. I like the odour, so I don't mind, but it was handled beautifully by the chef.

Best part is that the order was only $6.99. :D

My little sister's birthday today (she is 12 now) and my grandma made Birria!! My grandma made it soo good!! Had to have a second bowl, instead of the traditional birthday cake, my mom baked a cherry pie and a peach-cobbler pie (sadly, the frozen box kind), they are good but I prefer when its fresh made at home.

Careful with those brains bro. Prions are hard to kill. :)

Onion bagel sandwich with onion and chive cream cheese, baby leaf spinach, HBE, london broil, swiss cheese and mustard with macaroni salad. Dessert was a celery stick with peanut butter and dates.

Slipz and Shem persuaded me; I decided to go slay a Dragonfruit in the interests of taste-bud Science:

Shock of my life when I sliced it open to reveal:

Now who on Earth comes up with these colour combinations?

As for the Taste -

Smelled faintly of Banana (around the edges of the cut husk,) and the flesh smelled of honeydew and the meat of very young coconut. Tasted the same - very faint flavours, though, almost tasteless.
Texture of an overripe Kiwifruit, with seeds that were very similar.

It was somewhat bland, but I noticed whatever was in it almost immediately relaxed the tight muscle bands around my head. A release of Dopamine?

Not only did I have a big salad, baby leaf spinach and various other leafy greens, kidney beans, garbanzo beans, colby-cheddar cheese chunks, HBE and pieces of bacon. Then, had a bowl of my famous Beef & Bacon Cheddar Cheese Pasta Casserole.

Reading and watching your post made me thinking THIS

could be your #1 GT5 DLC wish...

Desert, two Toaster Strudels, Cinnamon Roll flavored

You really should stay hydrated then, instead of eating pastries.

A medium-sized can of Red Bull, some chocolate-coated Rold Golds, and a Strongbow are my companions for the next few hours. I've got an average of three assignments each night for the rest of the week, so that explains it.

Yes, he has a very cheesy diet but he's 7 feet, 80 inches tall and could kick yer dad's ass.

2 of these with the water filled to just over the edge of the noodles:

And I don't just throw them in boiling water, either. If you crush them up to the point where the noodles are tiny pieces and then throw them in a bowl and microwave them for 3 to 3-1/2 minutes they come out great.

+ about 1/8 cup of:

When I moved away from Maryland my greatest fear was losing Old Bay. Luckily the Walmart carries it :D

I feel sorry for those of you who will never know it's glory.

Nothing atm, got a really bad upset stomach that seems to expel anything I eat within an hour, so I'm trying to starve it out.

Explains my sense of humor, now doesn't it? ;)

Oh, and I'm only 6'9"... I think. But, definitely not 7' 80." :)

Had a handful of raw almonds and raw whole cashews with a thick slice of smoked turkey breast.

EDIT: Just had a late dinner. I had a turkey salad. Baby lettuces (baby green romaine lettuce and red romaine lettuce, tango lettuce, baby green oak lettuce and red oak lettuce, lolla rosa, baby green leaf lettuce and red leaf lettuce, baby green butter lettuce and red butter lettuce), baby greens (red swiss chard, mizuna, tatsoi, baby leaf spinach, arugula), frisee and raddichio with red beans, garbanzo beans, HBE x 2, smoked turkey breast, bacon, homemade pickled jalapenos and 1,000 island dressing along side a large piece of corn bread which was from Thanksgiving Day. It was either eat it, or give it to the dog.
