The last two nights was leftover beef stew. Tonight, something special:

Chicken Nasi Goreng Special: Sauteed chicken, onions, fried egg, nasi spices, peanut sauce, sambal oelek topped with fried egg, grilled ham and more sambal oelek.

Today is my mom's birthday, so my grandma made some chicken salad, and I bought the cake for my mom. One made of 3 milks (Pastel de Tres Leches) - also my mom married his husband on the same day, so I had to buy one that also congratulated the event.

Strawberry in the middle, moist and super delicious cake inside. Too me the frosting is just too sweet, i had to take it off.

So after looking everywhere for them, I finally got to try the Lays chicken and waffles potato chips. Aaaaand they're 🤬 gross. Figures.

I had my first McDonald's in 2 weeks today for lunch. It was OK.

This evening I cooked up a pound of chicken and 2 pound of pork with various spices. The chicken I had in a sandwich which was far too much for one sitting and I now feel like exploding from eating it all. The pork I will take for my meals tomorrow at work.

We were supposed to have our first BBQ of the year last night but ended up going to a new bistro that's opened on the marina. I started with a bubble & squeak cake with a poached agg and black pudding followed by a Thai fish broth. It was OK, not outstanding, just OK.

No time to go out for lunch today.
Don`t wanted to use the microwave oven with instant noodle soup. :yuck:

So I prepared a pile of bread this morning. Mrs. Saeco spent a cup of coffee. Here it is: my lunch.

Dinner tonight wasn't the healtiest of choices. Chili Cheese Taco Dogs: Wolf Brand Hot Beanless Chili, Hebrew National Beef Frank, Velveeta Singles, Bertman's Ballpark Mustard and Romero's Soft Taco Flour Tortilla

Trans-Fat is strong in this one.

Wolf brand is spicy.

Dinner was a big bowl of broccoli-cheddar soup with garlic croutons and salt pork added in.

Now I'm drinking root beer with blueberry whiskey.

Last night I knocked up a curry and had some friends over. There was none left after 30 minutes and everyone said it was excellent. :D

Today, due to lack of time to prepare some lunch I had to make do with McDonald's. It's lost it's appeal now that I've become used to my own cooking.
