Having the rest of that corn chowder, it's even better today after sitting in the fridge overnight.

Waiting for the reaction of @Slash and the other Iron Maiden heads.

I used to think that Omnis was an anagram of Nismo - not any more.
It's short for omnivorous.

 I love this apocrypha. "Nobody knows what Omnis is, but everyone knows who Omnis is."

Last nights dinner: Bacon wrapped fillets, garlic buttered peas and scalloped potatoes.

Dessert: 3 of Stones "Arrogant Bastard Ale". Best dessert ever .

In other news I may be starting to become lactose intolerant

Ha! Now you know what us lactards must go through.

It ain't stopping me from eating ice cream though.

Lunch break from playing video-games?

Hot chocolate. (Non-alcoholic aperitif)
Burgers and ginger ale. (Main course and wine)
Fruit candies. (Dessert)
Coffee. (Questionable digestif.)

Suitably charged and now back to gaming.

All I had yesterday was two bananas and some chips and salsa with Little Booger when he got home from school.

I had some German sausage from Thuringia last night, a bit like this...

Very tasty, and I had it with real German mustard (whatever it is called). A mate of mine invited me round to his place and he recently came back from Germany with a car-load of beers, liqueurs, sausages and various German foodstuffs - I'm a big fan of German food and German beer, and the two things make a pretty good combo.

Going to try making tomago kake gohan. I know it is really simple but I bet I mess something up.

No wife or kid, so I scrounged the freezer. I found two hamburger patties from God knows when and heated them up with pickles, cheese, Düsseldorf mustard, and steak sauce, and ate them with no bun. Then I popped a potato in the microwave to "bake" it and then chopped it up and tossed it with butter, sour cream, and cheese.

It's nights like this I realize ai would be a sad mess if I weren't married. I got home from work and never turned a light on until I decided to eat something. I was just in the dark watching TV.

Big Booger showed up with dinner when I had no plans to eat. I swear, this kid is trying to kill me with fast food, I'm telling ya! Chick Fil A. Never had it before, even though it's three block down the street from us and three blocks over. It was only OK, nothing special. At least the good part again was, it didn't cost me one penny. :)

Wow never had Chick Fil A? Their sandwiches are great, but the Deluxe doesn't travel very well. The veggies turn to mush. Same with the fries, they get soggy and limp quick, then tough. They need to be eaten as soon as possible.

The regular Chick Fil A sandwich comes with only a pressure deep fried chicken breast filet and two pickle slices. It travels much better. You can ask for mayonnaise packets.

Croutons.

I'm getting a bit worried about your diet.
And to think I only know you as a bunch of text. :dopey:

Had a Coors after ages, and I'm thinking 'Wow! That taste! Missed that taste!' Golden water.

Probably absence made the heart go fonder; if I had it everyday it would sicken me.
I haven't had a Tuborg in ages, either, and if I had that I'd be going - 'Man! That great Tuborg taste.'
