Still at it.

Turkey the guy made me, and I smelled pickles.

And yep. Saucy also.

For breakfast I'm having some waffles, bacon, a croissant, 2 blueberry muffins and some plain toast. That sounds decent to eat to start the day.

Forever and ever ramen. Nongshim Shin Ramyun Black brand with pak choi and prawns.

You know, this weekend I'm gonna try some ramen noodles with some white rice and vegetables. That will be a really warm and good meal one night on a cold evening.

Today's Ramen Noodle Experiment: Same stuff but with Chicken Broth AND Peppers (Of multiple varieties), mix with Black Pepper. Will this kick my butt? Maybe. Will it destroy my returning Sinus Congestion? Absolutely.

This image is ultimate proof that I will go to (quite literally) extraordinary lengths for a pun. My specialism is/was Raman spectroscopy, and I went to Yokohama's Ramen museum just to take this picture with the intent of portraying the idea that I turned up at the wrong venue for a Raman conference.

Stewed some chicken for about an half and a hour or so until tender, threw some rice in the pot and out came this delicious nonsense:

Second day in a row I've made this too. To not sound like I randomly stumbled onto this while concocting things like a mad scientist ( ), I tore the skin off some chicken (leaving a bit of fat behind for the sake of flavor), seasoned it with Sazon, black pepper, cayenne pepper and Old Bay, put about 3 1/2 cups of water into a pot with some Better Than Bouillon roasted chicken base and let time do its thing.

It's nothing fancy but it's so damn good. I could make this again for the next two or three days and be at peace.

I’m figuring a real beef ramen bowl is coming around soon, after I finish today’s sushi thing, after today’s Subway foot digests. Guy picked ham, threw a salad on it, mayo, and dumped oregano all over. Wasn’t bad.

Oh, beef. Forgot what I was talking about.

Most food has tasted something similar to 💩 since January so I’m sitting here and pouting over something INCREDIBLY INFURIATING my doctor did (unrelated), but since I’m very hungry too (it’s 00:45 AM here) I’m about to pop this bag and see what it taste like. I normally dislike salt and vinegar but who knows.

Tonight for a late supper I'm eating some fish sticks, hush puppies, coleslaw and some green beans.

@Touring Mars Wow, I've never been to that special place before, great work!!

$3.83!
I’d buy every single pack.
Beef prices are flipping outrageous here in the PNW.
Can’t find a pound of ground beef for that price.
Kind of envious 😝

Today for lunch, I'm having turkey subs, some wheat pasta and a few crackers. I'm gonna enjoy this meal, that's for sure.

Little chilly out, so... pork rice soup with a soft poached egg!

Has all kinds of good stuff for this weather: Garlic, cilantro, green onion, ginger, and bird's eye chili.

That looks really good. How was it?

Just like my Chinese mum makes it. She blends the garlic and ginger and keeps it in the fridge in jars to use as a base.
