It seems that sunday is pizza day. Lunch = pizza!

Last night was gyros and spinach pie.

Now I'm having some watermelon juice.

Lunch was spicy spaghetti with spinach, cherry tomato, tuna and olives. Some Parmigiano-Reggiano on top.

Made pizza the other night. Made the mistake of using a pre-made store-bought crust.

Cardboard pizza with mushrooms and sun dried tomatoes. Eh.

Tonight I had home made squid curry. Beautiful.
Recipe, please. I just stocked up on my calamari.

I just used a curry paste from the Chinese shop. Sorry.
Squid was from Tesco. Whole and without batter although it was gutted.
Also added peppers and onions.

LOL even my dinners look more extravagant than that
Doesn't matter what it looks like, only how it tastes. And it was damn good. :D

One good tip for curries I have though.
Use tomato sauce and curry powder for great tomato based curries.

The Pink Drink.

It's my own invention: take one quarter of a seedless watermelon, and use a third of the flesh. Get one red papaya and use a quarter of it. Take the seeds of a pomegranate, and a chunk of ginger the size of your thumb. Blend it all together with a heaped tablespoon of maca powder and a cup of chilled coconut water. Strain it once you're done - you get about two tablespoons of pomegranate pith and watermelon seed - and enjoy.

Went to Portillo's for dinner and had a cheeseburger and cheese fries.

i love that place, beat Italian beef sandwiches ever with hot peppers and cheese sauce and grilled onions oh man. Their burgers and dogs are good too.

We have pigs in a blanket, which use hot dogs instead.

That said, we have pancake and sausage on a stick and we also make sausage balls by mixing biscuit dough and ground sausage together with cheese.

Pigs in a blanket = sausage wrapped with bacon over here.

The last of the BBQ pulled pork.

Pigs in a blanket in my house are Nathan's Famous hot dogs wrapped in American cheese, wrapped in Pillsbury crescent dough and sealed up tight so the cheese doesn't leak out.

^ Exactly what I'm having for lunch, too.

I just buy these, but haven't in years. They're a little on the greasy side.

Are these really "Pigs" In A Blanket? Kosher?

Dinner was bologna and cheese grilled sammies with leftover Little Booger mac & cheese (blue box blues.)

Salsa lime chicken with black beans and rice.

Nah, Lil Smokies. Little wieners in a dough wrap.
Sure, if you're making appetizers. But for a meal you need...

This.

EDIT: I forgot that I had this for lunch yesterday. Italian chicken baguette with duck fries.

Followed up by frozen yogurt, where I couldn't choose between chocolate or vanilla and strawberry, so, I got a divider.

After all this talk, I just couldn't help myself.

I think I baked them about a minute too long, they got a little browner than I prefer, and they did leak a little. They were still good though. The potato salad, from the grocery's deli, not so much.
