I ordered a pizza from Papa John's for the first time in forever as I didn't feel like spending what my usual choices charge. I now regret that decision as it was undercooked and shockingly bland, how is it that some frozen pizza's are better than what the bigger chains have to offer?
I know it's heavily dependent on area/location (which kind of defeats the purpose of a chain restaurant in my opinion, but what do I know?) but I generally only get pizza from Domino's and Pizza Hut. Papa Johns here isn't bad but they're almost never my first choice.

Domino's is my usual choice for cheap pizza, Papa John's had a better deal though and I do like the garlic sauce they give you (at least that part was still good) so I figured I would give them another chance.

Unfortunately the Pizza Hut by me is notoriously bad to the point it's amazing it's even open, which is a shame as I love their cheese sticks.
Sorry you had bad luck.
I wish I could say it was bad luck, unfortunately there is a reason I hadn't ordered from there in quite awhile. Apparently it hasn't improved in that span.

I've been here before. We all have.

Well that sucks. What about Little Caesars? Is that an option for you?

Had Five Guys for lunch today. The burger was better than I remember from the last one a dozen years ago but their fries still absolutely suck. I have no idea why everyone thinks they're so good.

I don't mind Little Caesars but the one by me is in the same strip mall as an insanely good Korean fried chicken place so that usually wins out.

They dump a bunch in the bag and more=better (even though the "more" is built into the price).

I love Five Guys but it's terribly expensive. The food is good but for the premium you're paying you'd almost be better off getting a gourmet burger of the same ilk.

...Or just getting a smashburger of some kind.

You know what I don't get? Raising Cane's. The toast and Cane's sauce are amazing, but everything else is unseasoned cafeteria food. I don't understand. The only thing RC has over the frozen nuggets and tenders in my freezer right now is freshness. That's it.

an insanely good Korean fried chicken place...
Say no more.

I've never understood the fascination either, it's very much a "It's better than what else is available in the area" option.

Say no more.
But I will because sometimes they will throw in a free mochi donut since they also own the boba tea shop next door.

Little late night snack while we're under caution....

For dinner tonight, I ate some chicken tenders, French Fries, white rice and some Seggiano fusilli pasta. My mom ate 2 turkey subs with no toppings, some green beans, mashed potatoes and white rice.
