Guess I spelled it wrong
Fish dicks
Since I was a kid

It's Domino's Tuesday 2-for-1 offer day.

Pepperoni/'nduja and cheeseburger/jalapeño (hold the gherkins).

I used to love a Dominos - but I never ordered on a Tuesday because it was too busy because of the 2-for-1 deal.

I stopped ordering because they have always been bad at making deals for 1 person - it's great for 2 or more, but for the solo diner, it's a ridiculously expensive experience; and, since they closed my nearest branch, it was almost always disappointing.

The last Dominos pizza I had was actually in a Dominos restaurant, and you can't beat a Dominos that's straight out of the oven - and when I lived in London, there was a Dominos so close, I could just order it for collection and be home in 5 minutes; those were the days...

My Domino's is just down the road. I'm just too lazy to go and get it for the sake of a few minutes' waiting time. This deal is great for one person because I can snack on this for a week and it's a lot cheaper on Tuesdays.

For breakfast, we had some tater tots, 4 pancakes, 2 bagels and some sausage patties. For lunch, we had some chicken wraps and lettuce/cucumber salads. Still deciding what we're going to eat for dinner later on tonight.

Our local Tesco sells 'nduja in the deli section so it's quite widely spread (sorry) over here.
KFC Daredevil Zinger

Identical to a regular Zinger but with a choice of sauces (I forewent sriracha firecracker and opted for the regular Supercharger sauce) and the addition of jalapeños and what appears to be a chilli bun.

Will I dare to eat another? Outlook foggy.
I did indeed double down on one more DD Zinger before they swing off into the sunset on the 17th May. From the looks of things KFC don't sell Zingers in the US. They're chicken breast fillets with a spicier batter.

The point is moot though, since (as I understand it) to Americans KFC is lowest-of-the-low tier gutter trash food anyway and they'd rather eat Chik-Fil-A or maybe Popeyes. I think the ones on this thread are just being polite.

I don’t eat at Chik-fil-A. The Cathy family isn’t getting a dime of my money.

Speaking of that, they built a brand new Chick-fil-A in our town of Roxboro on April 16th. So now whenever we want a Chicken Sandwich or something, we can go by there and get it. However we still have to watch the sugar intake and our diet.

When I worked in Irvine, California, me and a mate were going for lunch and invited a female colleague to join us. We were headed to Chick-Fil-A and she asked us where we were going - when we told her, she said "Oh, sorry, I don't eat there", so we all ended up going elsewhere. Knowing their stance on LGBT rights, however, I wouldn't go back or use them if they ever opened in the UK.

My mate and I later went to In'N'Out burger instead, which was my favourite local eatery - but the Bible Verses on the cups etc were a bit worrying - the food was fantastic, but I had my doubts over them too. Funnily enough, their HQ was/is in Irvine and I used to walk past it every day on my way to work and their local restaurant was pretty much their flagship branch, so no wonder it was pretty good!

We have a Chick-Fil-A on campus and the only time I've ever eaten at it was the day before it opened when they gave all the faculty and staff free lunch.

In defence of a brand that might be unfair to alphabet people (which is not cool right now), at least they didn’t knowingly sponsor a pedophile.
cough Subway cough

Chicken sandwich made at home is the only way to go. Get what you like, how you like, without corporate brands and hefty fees.

Anyone who eats KFC is either starving and or lacking any other option, gets it for free or is probably very intoxicated.

Where's the batter?

That's rich, as they say. Next time I'm out shopping and fancy a snack, should I wait until a farmer walks by with a herd of chickens and wheat so I can make a sandwich from scratch? One thing fast food is not is a waste of time. It's in the definition.

I'm surprised you don't brew your own beer. Why have someone else do it for you?

Shaking my head.
