Getting ready to do a 4 hour smoke on some beef ribs. God knows I love my 'cue.

Not sure if your user ID refers to Michael Crichton/13th Warrior or something else , but whenever I see your posts I think of burning meat.

The smell of bar-b-ques is rife around here, sizzling spits spinning at every turn, driving me crazy with the smell and sounds. A nearby Provincial park hosted a three-day holiday weekend cook-out called a Rib-fest. Pretty huge, thousands of people chomping down ribs made by famous 'rib' restaurateurs from all over the country as well as from all over USA. Trophies are awarded at the end of the fest to the best. Even the Mayor comes along and does a taste test at every stall. They all tout, and sell, their own branded bar-b-que sauces, spice-mixes, etc.
I have my favourite stalls, too, but they better fork out some cash to this site before I advertise them! Needs be said, they're damn good with the ribs.
Haven't had anything yet, but several cups of tea. Got to choreograph the painting of four apartments simultaneously. Needs fly, but MUST eat.
