NO, it has one V6, Monster's old car( i dont remember the name right now) had two V6's attached to 1 tranny

Why don't you use some headphones? ;)

BBM, I spotted this:

Hitachi 60G 2.5 inch Notebook HDD / 7200 rpm 557.00
60G Fujitsu Laptop HDD 330.00

This is in AU, but they're quite expensive...I guess I'll have to check instore for more on that Fujitsu's rpm.

the best car sound is the engine on the RayBrig NSX....

if you have one rev it up on the start grid and listen to that deep powerful rumble its got....sounds aggressive (and IS)....next time you do the save/reload thing...forget the car you were aiming for and choose this beauty instead, you'll not regret it.

The Raybrig NSX is probably my favorite car. Just last night I had to repeat the last race in Amateur GT All-Star SEVEN times to get it.

If the cars had realistic engine sounds, the best sound would probably be the C5R. That thing just sounds mean. I was watching the American Le Mans yesterday, and the Ferraris just sounded stupid compared to the Corvettes.

err....dont try that in a real car...   you'll be picking the gearbox up of the motorway..

you would be lucky to be able to get it into first, you would wear out your syncros, and hear them whine like all ****:ouch:

and if you did get it too first and dumped the clutch, youll prolly lose control and crash

the coolest sounding exhaust notes in gt3 are either the lancer rally prototype or the mr2 spyder super autobacs version. they have that import exhaust sound that kind of rolls through you. smooth !

The mustang is the only car in this game that has that V8 Loudness...When u Hear one rev up in real life, you know its a mustang, no matter where u are...i heard a viper in real life Reving up, the guy used to live in my fathers neighborhood, he used to want to race my father, My father had a 1984 trans am lolol, its a nice looking car has a 5.0L V8, i think 200 hp, it sounds nice too...The guy had a VIPER, when it revved up though..sounded so beautiful, it set off car alarms, man now that i think of it...i hope they have trans ams in GT4

Im sure most of u know what a trans am looks like, but for those who dont...heres a pic

Whats with Americans and supporting their cars?
The only American car i could stand to drive all the time would be either: Pontiac, Mustangs, Vettes, or Vipers

haha thats the only cars u could stand to drive forever...well i cant stand throwing a vette in a pool with mustangs and, did you say pontiacs? dont get me wrong its all nice cars but sportscars? truly sportscar?...the viper has the guts...but lacks the refinement...so let the king be the king...CORVETTE! funny thing is it doesnt even scream im the biggest and baddest...it just is.

Yes, a V-8 has two manifolds each going to four cylinders, and an I-4 has one manifold going to four cylinders, but that doesn't mean they sound the same. Are you deaf? Have you ever heard a car?

Yeah, you're run of the mill V8 has 2 manifolds, each going to 4 cylinders.
Your NON run of the mill v8, IE one with True Dual Exhaust, like say a Shelby, doesn't sound CRAP like it would if the EXACT same engine in the EXACT same trim, was thrown into a Mustang with standradized exhaust setup.
Does an NSX sound like two Geo Metros? Does a Viper sound like two Fiats? Does a Harley Davidson sound like two chainsaws? I am truly amazed at your ignorance.
I love the childish insults.
The NSX has 6 exhaust tubes that go down into one main tubing, not to mention it's the full length of the car

Most V-8's have larger displacement, lower compression, run at a lower RPM, and have larger exhaust pipes. That changes the sound completely.

Ever heard a Shelby Cobra? Sounds annoying high pitched, like what other cars? Imports
Firing order changes the sound, too. An I-4 always has the #1 and #4 cylinders moving the same direction, and #2 and #3 cylinders moving in the other direction. A 2.0L flat-4 Impreza sounds totally different than a 2.0L I-4 RSX. Even if all other things were equal, the firing order would make a V-8 sound different than an I-4.

Yeah, firing order changes sound SLIGHTLY, the faster the engine is moving, the less noticable the change.
1 - 2 - 4 - 3 = standard I-4
1 - 3 - 4 - 2 = American I-4
1 - - 2 - 3 4 = V-8 left side
4 2 - 3 - - 1 = V-8 right side

Wrong there too....

Civics(which isn't an American car OR engine) firing order is
1-3-4-2

Man, you're wrong too. If you read my post you'll notice I never said V12 did I? You simply assumed so. Yes it has the big sticker V6 on the side, because the car is powered by 2 V6's...Making it a 12 Cylinder car. Smart guy aincha?

Nonetheless, the Escudo Pike's Peak in GT3 (and GT2) is still powered by a single 2.5 litre V6 with a pair of ceramic turbos on it.

As someone else said, Monster's old car (1989-1993) - the Suzuki Cultus (Baleno in Europe) - had a pair of V6s front and rear mated to a single gearbox. The previous Suzuki Escudo/Grand Vitara Monster used was also a twin engine (1994-1995), but he changed in 1996 to a single engine - for reliability and engineering issues. Ironically after a win and a 2nd in the twin engine one, the only one he ever DNFed in was the single engine car! The one in GT3 is from 1997/1998 - the single engined one (which curiously never won... I wonder why we can't have the winner in GT3 instead :D).

BTW if a Honda NSX is an MR, why do it's exhausts "run the whole length of the car"?

What year of model is that?

Driftster:

So, you're going to stick to your position that a V-8 engine sounds the same as two I-4 engines? In that case, I'll just have to assume you're completely deaf.

I don't have any interest in talking to you. I just think it's sad that you speak with such authority that people may actually think you know what you're talking about. Every post you make only serves to make everybody who reads it dumber. It's sad. Please stop saying things if you don't have a clue what you're talking about.

Last year I went to the festival of speed at goodwood and they had a GT40 race. My Dadand i stood right by the chicane. The sound of a GT40 shifting down and the engines backfiring and popping and the falmes form the exhaust pipe. WHY DO YOU NOT GET THIS IN GT3??? I got a GT40 up to 200km/h shifted down into 1st but there was no backfiring or anything how do I get any of the cars to do this????
