If you wanna get chased by cops...go around as a team of marines from "Aliens" with replica Pulse Rifles and Smart Guns...oi...that was one hell of Halloween XD

we dont celebrate halloween in Australia so whats so special about it
The main tradition is that kids dress up in costumes and then go door to door trick or treating, which is where they say "trick or treat" and the homeowner gives them some candy-treat. The trick part is that if you don't hand out candy then you will most likely have eggs or toilet paper thrown at your house. So basically, kids threaten terrorism for candy.

I believe (but as always I can be wrong) historically it was a pagan holiday and this was the fun, family friendly way non-pagans managed to use the day and kind of take away its fearful nature.

Of course, nowadays while kids are out looking for candy adults are having their own costume parties and from what I can see various forms of slutty seem to be the big thing.

All in all, it is an excuse to get free candy and act like a fool.

Flew a C-17 to Bagram, Afghanistan to drop off 10 pallets and 60 Marines, then flew to Lithuania to pick up 4 Humvee's, 7 pallets, and 28 members of the Lithuanian Army and took them to Spangdahlem, Germany where another crew waited to fly them to Bagram.

Nothing like a 24 hour work day with 20 hours of flying, and 4 hours of ground time, on Halloween. Yay.

How old do you have to be before you can't go trick or treating in America? If anyone over about 12 came to our door (excluding oldies taking kids around) we'd tell them to bug off. Most people in Australia forget about Halloween so its really not much fun.

I have relatives in the states though, so my parents get right into it. My step dad carved a pumpkin and everything...

Might be going to a party, might also dress up as the Blues Brothers with a friend and go trick or treating at the University of Guelph with my bluesmobile.

I went to a Halloween party last night, it was pretty cool actually. I got a costume last min. thanks to my best friend's wife (She's the same size as me pretty much), it was a Prince outfit. Everyone got really into it so I ended up with eye shadow and black finger nail paint which I still have on at work right now...

I was the "designated driver" for the four of us, but had to drive a friend's two door Civic since my car won't hold more than 1 person (it's old, lets put it that way) and my friend's two cars have expired registration stickers... I had to take the four person home in which she lived the farthest and we were still in costume(Me prince and her a... Ninja fairy.). We met up with some Mexican at stop light and proceed to "groove" to the music while the damn retarded light proceed to be green for everyone that wasn't stopped at the fing intersection. I'm so glad we didn't get shot up. xD

Oh yeah, and my best friend also peed on a short bus literally on the walk back to the house we met up at.

Oh yeah, the host had an open bar with free drinks too. It was cool because the bartenders volunteered to do it.

Probably just heading out to pubs & grabbing a brew or 2. (insert old man saying) I'd like to get out of there and home at a decent hour. Who knows wtf people will be up to....and driving...on a Friday Halloween.

Went to my uncle's and ate pizza and cookies. Handed out candy to trick-or-treaters. I didn't even know it was halloween today.

Walked around Wal-Mart looking at the cross-dressers' halloween "costumes."

Then I drove through the campus at the university here and saw about 5,000 nurses, whores, and sailorgirls.
