The main tradition is that kids dress up in costumes and then go door to door trick or treating, which is where they say "trick or treat" and the homeowner gives them some candy-treat. The trick part is that if you don't hand out candy then you will most likely have eggs or toilet paper thrown at your house. Flew a C-17 to Bagram, Afghanistan to drop off 10 pallets and 60 Marines, then flew to Lithuania to pick up 4 Humvee's, 7 pallets, and 28 members of the Lithuanian Army and took them to Spangdahlem, Germany where another crew waited to fly them to Bagram.
Nothing like a 24 hour work day with 20 hours of flying, and 4 hours of ground time, on Halloween. Yay.
