Yes the Viper GTS is a pretty fast piece of machinery - Actually it is my fastest car, I got mine doing 291 mph !!

I have a Supra RZ Special Model Car (Not The Ones With Racing Mods. But Another Type) It's Green and Has More HP Then The Regular Supra RZ and With The Right Settings I Can Do Up To 272 MPH With Out Drift On The Max Speed Course

Supra RZ 272MPH
Viper GTS 288MPH
Lotus V8 SE 279MPH

Those Speeds Were Done In The Max Speed Track.

Oh the car that is the fastests for me is my Lotus Spirit, even though I have faster cars but I love my lotus Spirit I first bough it in GT2 then it was my second purchace in GT3 I had to get the money to buy it....

My second fastest and overall best car has to be the Nissan R390 GT1 Race car, with stage 4 turbo. Well over 1200BHP and does 439KmH!!! And handles great! But don't forget the GT-One racer and the 787B with stage 4 turbos, they are all over the 400KmH mark.

Yeah but the thread says fastest STOCK TUNED car, not racing cars.

Only the stage 2 I'm afriad. But that still brings the BHP to well over 900. The closes I've come to 300mph was doing 454kph in the escudo.

My fastest purchased car would be my little Fully Pimped out Miata....which on the Test Track, I could get it up to around 205-210 mph.



With the game finished, the only cars I purchased were the Trueno, a VW Beatle, and a Miata. The rest were all prize cars....(if memory serves me correctly...)

Must have purchased it for the first Silver Arror race in the beginning league, and used my wining car's for the rest of the silver (Merc.) races. Actually, now that I think of it, I bought a SLK Kompressor..and while I'm on that topic, I might have bought an audi...

I think the fastest stock car is probably the Ruf RGT! Can't remember exact speed details but that baby really flies once you've wound it up on the test track!

If ur talking about the fastest Road Car thats non-tunned, then I would have to condider the Toyota GT-One Road Car. Or the Nissan R390 Road Car. The GT-One can do 333.8Kph with TRC and ASM off and No downforce.

and my Esprit SPORT 350 aslo pulls well over 410km/h

yea, I understand the km/h thing, can even traslate it 454 comes out to right around 281mph, which is just about as fast as I've had it. but we've got people getting 300mph+ that's who I was asking, guess I shoulda specified or somthin

That's a great list and all Jag man, but those aren't numbers from the game.. I dunno how some of our fellow GT'ers are getting some of their speeds, (given I haven't bothered checking what speeds the actual STOCK car claims are). Also, it doesn't take into account plain ole' game developer error.. That doesn't qualify as a credible source of disprovement..

Ok, the 308.8 mph I attained with my Escudo was accomplished on the Test Course doing Machine Test, max speed. I went backwords, of course, to give me indefinete ammount of tries, although I only do one full circuit. The Escudo was fullymaxed. I used super soft tires. I am in class now and can't give a full account of how I tweaked it, but it was fully lowered, with full downforce. Spring rates were set to the max, along with bound and rebound. I brought the gears fully wide, then made the total ratio around 2.000. I also tweaked all the gears individually. It comes out so that first gear takes you through 61 mph, and I know that 5th takes you up to 260. TCS was set to 5, and the 4WD was set so that 10% was front wheels. I forget the slip settings, but I played with those too. I haven't had time to get it up to 310, and I am losing hp because I was rubber band laming the SuperSpeeday Enduo, so I need to win another one for the full 1881 hp.
Anyways, anyone should be able to do it.
