What is your Favourite Radio Station?

I think there's more than that, well at least "The News with Leanne Forget" has more. That updates every time there's major news, which is always caused by something you did in each mission. Madd Dogg's manager was killed, Madd Dogg's comeback, Frank Tenpenny killed, Officer Polaski killed, that other cop that C.R.A.S.H got you to take out was killed, etc.

Yeah, Lazlow has 3 different shows based on how far into the game you are, I dunno about the other shows.

is he one of those people who look totaly different to what they sound like and when you see their faces your cool image of them are totally destroyed?

Like Tim Westwood and the Chemical Brothers, (sound pretty cool right?........they dont look it :( )

I never listen to the chat stations because I don't want something funny when I'm driving - I want driving MUSIC, and the music in San Andreas just sucks. Vice City had the best soundtrack of any game, ever. There were just so many classic 80s pop and rock tunes. I don't know how they managed to find such a ****ty selection of songs for it. Rage Against The Machine and Guns n' Roses are the only 2 really good driving songs on Radio X. The rest is mediocre crap. They should have put a dedicated rock station in the game. Bleh! :yuck:

Maybe I'm just a child of the 1980s.

Why didnt they have any ACDC?.

Though KM K-DST and Radio X are pretty good. I was also listening to bounce FM, Master sounds and SF-UR for something different as i dont know them radios as good. Its hard for me to judge the SA Radio stations as in VC i thought they all were quite good still, but i only played VC for 100 hours or so, where SA is now about 250 so radio stations are getting repetitive.

every 6mths if a few new radio stations was launched when GTA goes to PS3 would be a good idea. Or if people could compile their own lol, Imagine the 🤬 you find.

But yes KM i would like more rock.

Its bulls***, i almost hate it as much as K-Rose.
Its a bunch of idiots singing love songs that all sound the same!
 
None taken, I used to hate it too, but at the moment I'm really liking it.

I just hate the fact that all of the songs have exactly the same drum beat and lyrical content.

K-DST and Radio X are great stations for me. I grew up around the time a lot of the songs on Radio X were new, so I really enjoy it. I also spent more time travelling around with my dad's 70's/80's Rock-style band, so I listened to a lot of the stuff on K-DST. While driving around, though, I actually enjoy listening to almost everything, the exceptions being K-Rose and CSR. Everything else is good to drive around with, seeing as I tune out of everything when I'm driving on the game, and it just sounds like background music.

Vice City for me was more: Sing along to some dodgy 80's song whilst laughing my head off. GTA III's radio just plain sucked. Chatterbox was awesome, but really, I didn't like much else. K-Jah was alright, and Head Radio was only good for background music.

I don't like country, but it's so cool trying to blow up people to Crazy. And Patsy Cline's "one cigarette" is a great song too, though her voice sounds like nails on a chalkboard.

And someone said earlier that Leanne Forget's name was a play on words... how? I don't get it.
 
all time fave is head radio from gta 1 & 2. who can forget the johnny recaro show or the news blues?..................probably everyone except for me :sick:
 
I like Radio X for "Kill A Man" and K-Jah West. I still don't know what the hell "j-jah" means, though. And I can't understand what they're saying. But I have "Ring My Bell" stuck in my head so it's all good.
 
"Kill A Man" is by Cypress Hill. It plays on Radio Los Santos.

I couldn't agree more. Except that Amus Moses song about a crocodile that "eats up his bread and groceries" is downright cool. Other than that, I'm all for the noose.

So, have you guys picked out a favorite radio station yet? So far I've just been looking forward to the commercials - much more hilarious than GTA IV.
 
'Flylo FM' contains some of my favourite songs (lots of Flying Lotus songs I'm already familiar with), and I've also been listening to a lot of 'Non-stop pop FM'... Those old classic radio tunes I wouldn't listen to in real life work really well in GTA games. 👍
