U know what how about a delorean

Man, you're naive! How do you think you're going to afford an obscure 80's coupe? They aren't cheap, and good luck if you hit a tree, a parked car, or any other obstacle in the parking lot. Hope you can afford to get those stainless steel body panels repaired! :dunce: So no, just no. Be realistic here.

Just no. You'd be better off with a three legged rocking horse.

Sarcasm detector fail.

Best first car should be something small, economical, low-powered, front wheel drive with light steering and clutch (if manual). A hatchback would probably be best for when it comes to parking.

Exactly. A Golf.

And OP, if you need speed, I see no reason why you shouldn't stretch it to a GTI. Technically there is next to nothing that a current Golf GTI can't do, except going offroad perhaps - and then the R has 4WD!

Hey, hey, hey guys

Mustang II Coupe, find it with a straight 6 and it's got everything you want. They even had a fastback version.

Top gear had this on their show yesterday 👍 but it was a 4 cylinder..... Dubbed the worst car in America lol. And yes this was Top Gear America

What a sexy ride .. now you gotta put a Boss 9 in it or a 2JZ

Sexy? Compared to what? Waking up covered in feces? It's bloody horrible, especially compared to the first generation Mustang. As first cars go, and with the burden of teen awkwardness and the desperate desire to impress the opposite sex, you'd be better off getting around in adult nappies.

Ah sarcasm we win again.

What's wrong with Toyota engines? Certainly better than the crap Ford put in that car in the first place.

Though I'd stick in a Lexus 1UZ-FE V8.

I agree Toyota is a really reliable brand.... Two years ago a friend of mine found a early 90s model Toyota camry i guess it was some special edition at the time because he said it was awd... When he bought it he said it had over 400k miles.. All he had to do was put in new hoses and a tune up he said it runs like new.. Late last year he told me it has over 550k miles and it is still running good.... Also on TOP GEAR U.K. they had a Toyota truck that was practically indestructible..

 Let's not give a teen an M3..... That's just asking for trouble.

Um, yes, what He said, I bought my E36 M3 when I was in my late teens, many moons ago. I was at the DMV so often in front of the judge, they should of given me my own seat at the court room. Thinking back, I'm surprised I'm still alive. But then again, after all that I been through, speeding tickets, accidents and all, I believe it made me a better driver. Just wish it didn't cost me that much to learn my lesson. and I'm still paying for all the "fun" I had when I was young, you should see my insurance premiums now, ouch. :scared:
