1) Read Apex book
2) Call friends and rub in their faces I have GT5
3) Eat and drink for the whole day, because obviously you will not leave your room anymore
4) Stare at the TV while it installs, like a mental
5) Censored by Sony (doing other Adult stuff)
6) Install Gt5 on Both Of my PS3's (If amazon Deliver it on the Release Day that it)
6a) Pray Neither of them Suffer the YLOD :nervous:
7) Disconnect the Phone
8) Switch off the Mobile Phone
9) Stick a Post It Note on me Street Door Apologizing in Adavance to my Neighbours for the The Sudden Screaming and Noise (either from me or the Game)
10) Neck a Few Beers
11) Post a Few Pics of the Game on here
12) Wish Everyone who gets the Game from GTP a Happy Fun Day

I'll be tidying up my room because once I get my hands on the wheel there is no coming back. Soon my room will no longer be a room but a filthy car interior. Full of empty cans and pizza boxes on the backseat ;)

I'll either read the Apex book or watch TV while waiting. :)
And most probably stare at the installation progress from time to time like a mental. :D

I think i will play Forza III. I will need 30 minutes for the firmware update i guess plus the 50 minutes for GT5.
I am still on an old firmware, i still have my otherOS to do CELL programming, i will deeply miss that option, but hey, that s for GT5.

I wont be installing so i'll be able to play the game because until I buy a new ps3 320slim I have no space for it anyway.

I'll be thumbing through the Apex book while rolling my SLS around the family room waiting for the progress bar to fill to 100%. If at any point I become bored, I'll probably play a few games of My Player in MLB 2k10, how a game that is so bad can have such a great mode is beyond me.

Sit behind my Driving Force Pro with the accellerator mashed in vain hope that it will speed up the install.

I'll probably flip through the Apex book for a while.

Ill read the Apex book.

By the way, I remember a GTP member making "do not disturb" signs for GT5 months back. Anyone know who it was?

I'm toying with bringing my PS3 into work on launch day, so I can a) install it in the background ready for the evening; b) take advantage of stupidly high speed internet to download any updates that might have come out since the disks were pressed and c) play it ;)

On the other hand, c might be too tempting and lead to little work getting done..

On the plus side, Amazon are showing it as having an estimated *delivery* date of "23rd-24th"... so you never know, it might turn up a day early.

40-50 minutes for the install! WHoa!!
Honestly I will just play the 360 untl the install is finished. Thats what I always do while my PS3 is installing games. I voted for Forza 3 because thats probably what I will play while I wait.

I'll be practicing piano, which is great for me since I sit down and two hours pass by thinking that I was only sitting for 15 minutes.

👍

I' love a little practice at such moments (with my pair of sticks ;)), but GT is just another story.I probably can't do anything but watching how it installs...

hopefully mine will arrive while at work, upon which i will ring wifey and demand that she installs it for me, so it's ready to play when i get home. If not, i'll just install it as i eat dinner as mentioned.

lol

Ill be impatiently going mental. Not only will we have to wait for the install but if there is a patch we will have to wait for that download too and hope its not a repeat of the prologue patches with repeated fails before it downloaded fully.

Orginize all my PS2, Gamecube, PSP and PS3 games by alphabetical order, then scramble them and orginize them by year, then by rating, etc. Then I would probably bake an apple pie, give my dog a bath, and when its finished with the instal, realize that the PS3 is too hot and it has gone into vacum cleaner mode, turn off the PS3, turn on my PS2 and play GT4 for the last time until the PS3 cools down. And for last, turn the PS3 and realize that both controllers have a low battery, and... well... Devil May Cry 4 took around 45 minutes also but I just waited in front of the TV. Probably that´s going to happen when I get GT5.

It looks like the Apex book & the GTR model will be more than enough to keep me occupied for 40 minutes. Just saw the signature unboxing video on YT which gave a glimpse of the book, and it's jam packed with alot of info on racing, cars, tracks. Good stuff!

Tell me about it... It took me like three hours to download the SpecIII update correctly...
