I plan to get it at midnight but have work early the next morning. So I'll probably not do the install at first, but just browse through the game, showrooms, options, etc. Then let it install while I go to sleep.

1.put the game in my ps3
2.look at the box and go this is really it !
3.yes to install on hardrive
4.drool
5.fone all my friends and say you should have pre-ordered it
6.lock my door so none of them can get in to my house
7.turn the phone on silent
8.laugh that i am the only one of my pals that have it cos i pre ordered it
9.tell my g25 she has arrived
10.play the game until my hands cant take no more !

I would like to have said read the apex book.

But after I had to cancel my pre-order for the Collector's Edition, I might end up only getting the standard version of the game :(

So stare at the screen of course (:

More than likely I will be doing everything in my power to put my son down for a loooooong nap!

Watch all my favourite car related YouTube clips whilst listening to Master of Puppets. That's the plan!

Strip naked and do the victory dance in the living room, running back and forth screaming like a thirteen year old girl before getting all supplies in to gaming room, lock the front door and get the comfy OMP shoes on, check that surround system is working, g25 is set up correctly and in perfect position compared to the pedals and slip in to the sparco seat to never return to the outside world for at least a week. :sly:

Nowhere in there did you mention putting your clothing back on...Not going to ask how you plan to play GT5 to the fullest, but if this is any indication you my friend are a die hard.

this sounds very good to me :) any pics of this setup 👍

Im gonna work on assignments/study so I can pull all nighter with GT5 and go sleep during class next morning.

I'll be unpacking my Signature addition like a mad man, then putting it all back neatly away, and just staring in awe at the screen while it installs!
I personally think them 40mins will take longer than the years we have had to wait for the game lol!

I am going to:

Eat, drink, watch tv and read the Apex book for the whole day, because obviously you will not leave your room anymore.

Probly down to a minimum, shorts if im lucky. It's just going to get sweaty after 1 hour anyway, and then there 19 more hours to play, sleep 3 hours, then back on the saddle :D

Not as of now, still need to pick up a reciever for the sound. Just some plywood, and done way to big due to not needing a simplistic nor a setup that has to be small. Hence, make it big and have plenty of space. Needed alot of space when has PC and PS3 in one so to speak :sly:

Sadly, study :(
After that, a short glimpse of the game, and then it will be parked untill Friday. On Friday and Saturday morning I'm going to burn my PS3, and then park it again untill Wednesday.

Ya foolin' yourself mate... you know that, I know that, we all know that :)

Hope that wasn't too much of an important exam though

PS: bueno, si estás en Madrid igual te hago una visita, que me dejé la ps3 en italia :D yo estoy en chamberí, queda lejos tu casa? jajaja

1 Feed my kitten and make sure she is asleep for a good few hours to ensure no distractions.
2 Turn the TV off to stop me staring at it impatiently like a madman
3 Read the instruction manual
4 Post at a few online gaming forums proclaiming that I have the game.
5 Get some drinks from the fridge and food and take them to the room my PS3 is in

Probably spend some "quality time" with the Wife, as it may be the last she sees of me for quite a while

I really dont think she understand what this release means

Calling/Texting Friends and posting a shoutout on facebook to not call the cops once I go missing for the next 10 months :p

Though that shouldnt take too long so I'll read the Apex book in the mean time...

hope that I don't become blind mysteriously. Maybe close my eyes until it dings to tell me it's done.

Bribe the local electricity supplier and buy 3 generators.Power surges will not be tolerated (Evil laugh)
