Getting an idea of what people's preferences are.
It depends on my position, and what I'm doing.
If I'm not in first, or if it's a battle for first, I use the bumper cam (default one).
If I'm well ahead, I use cockpit mode.
I was having this discussion with a friend not long ago. I drive too but in a game the interior view is too far back, even with the narrowest view. When driving IRL you're focusing ahead and can only just see the top of the dashboard and steering wheel with peripheral vision, whereas in a game you can see the drivers hands and speedo quite clearly as well as nearly all the wheel. Like @Vegard i too yearn for FOV adjustment.Cockpit of course because that's how I drive real cars.I have yet to drive a car sitting on the roof, hovering behind or strapped to the front bumper. Hahaha.
