What's the worst handling car in GT6?

What are you talking about!? TheCaterham Fireblade in it's stock form is one of the most fun cars to drive in this game! (IMO)

I say the diablo gt2. It's great in everyway except that when you turn the whole car just slides. good if you want to drift it, but bad if you want to set good lap times.
Fun yes, but it is difficult as hell due to the fact its just too light.

For me, it's the the Auto Union Type C Streamliner.

It's a combination of the two evils, oversteer and understeer.

It oversteers when going fast and has extreme understeer when going slow.

The Tommykaira ZZII has oversteer as well.

Thinking about it in another light, the Lotus 97T...

For being what is a nimble, light, responsive Formula racer in real life, GT's rendition is numb and dull, slow to respond to my inputs in a realistic manner as I should expect it to.

It comes with a clutch though.

My point was more towards the steering, having "900" degrees in a Formula car doesn't help matters, requiring exaggerated movements for what should be small corrections. PD could of at least made some sort of 'adjustment' available to us for that car, or coded-in a better suited ratio.

Even the first rfactor & freedom of PC gives me that ability. And that game is oooooold.

I think the old RUFs are great handling cars. But the worst, I have to say, is the TVR Cerbera Speed 12.

Anything with the RR layout drives horridly. I find MR & FF aren't bad however.

They don't. For example, the RUF Yellowbird is quite a good car with decent throttle control, and tuning.

The BTR, however, is a wild beast that wants to kill me in every corner. That may be because I haven't found a good tune for it yet, however.

The DeLorean is quite docile. At least with reasonable tyres, it's been a while since I put slicks on it.

I've never tuned (even copied) that. For a start, try going slower on entry and faster on exit.

Have you tried it with maximum downforce? Based on what you have said above about it, I'm pretty sure you haven't. You're missing out. :)

For me, the Lotus 97T when properly tuned with maximum downforce, is the best handling car in GT6.

Try it!

If the 97T is with 900°, there's something wrong. I remember it being much less from the game, not the wheel setting.

I can't agree more, but even without full downforce it handles brilliant.

You mean with values such as 1500/1810? If so, then I also can't agree more. :D For me, it's even better. I seem to have a bit of an oversteering driving style (It sure doesn't help my crashing problem ).

I've tried my own tune, Priaino's tune, & a third tune by a tuner shop that escapes my mind atm (they had a trans tune with "launch control"). I still don't end up getting the steering out of it I want.

Watch any old on-board turbo-F1 footage, and watch the steering inputs & how the car reacts, GT can't seem to match that, especially when the game allows 900 degree steering for it, many inputs feel 'washed out'.

I'm not the only one either, many noted the car feeling 'numb' or dull at release in regards to steering.

I bought the Audi Auto Union yesterday afternnoon, thinking it would be something cool to have, and it might be pretty quick.

I was wrong. I was horribly wrong.
At less than 50 MPH, it doesn't turn and over 50 MPH, it tutns way to much!

It was built to set speed records. In a straight line.
I think this says it all.

Yes, the Veyron can turn, especially if you use a manual gearbox. With an AT it'll be very hard and frustrating.

Not all of them. The Chaparral handles great. It's like a slightly slower 2014 X1.
I don't know whether it was my DS3 setting but it has loads of lag when turning. You jolt the joystick to the left or right, it's about half a second before the car actually starts turning.

They did issue a patch for the DS3 to work better with that car. Have you tried it after the patch?

I find the chapparal vgt really hard to drive. When you get to the limit it moves around a lot and not having gears makes it hard to control it. But I only tried it on that one seasonal.
