Whats your cash strategy?

At first, I was doing the British Lightweight race (Pro)... giving me 24,000 for under 3 minutes in my stealth F1. Now that I've leveled up enough, I'm doing the High Speed Ring in the Turbo event (Expert) for 36,000 for about a 3 minute race in my Veyron.

American Championship -> Indy 500 in extreme, 98k for 5 laps @ 52-46 seconds, of complete mind numbing boredom (+a quarter century of loading screens each way). God I hate ovals, not currently using a money strat though, now that I've hit the endurance crap and no longer need cars, just not spending, leveling bspec.

I'm level 17 and farm the Speed Ring race with my R34 fully tuned, 3.20 min for 36k, easy win! Now i must try something about rally race that a friend of mine have told me!

I'm leveling up in the B-Spec while reading the forum. When i get to Level 16 in B-spec, i will be able to get loads of cash while browsing.
I hope that strategy works.

So far I've spent a lot of of money or upgrades. I usually check the race requirements and buy a car that can get me into two races if possible. Like a the Ferrari 512B. It has helped me a lot in many races with full upgrades and hard work.

I've used the Murcielago LP-670 for many of the tough races such as the GT Champion. It has amazing acceleration and relatively good handling.

The Veyron is killing me with the bad gripping, so I need to find a good car for the GT all stars.

We should make a table with the following classifications: name of event/race, number of laps, amount of cash, amount of xp.
Much easier to make a choice :D

Don't forget the level. It may be a while before people have a high enough level for the more "rewarding" events.

Do Polyphony Digital Cup Champion (total: around 20 mins)
$32,000 x 3 races = $96,000
XP total about 13,000xp
Winning Champs award $198,000
plus won a 350z Gran Turismo 4 Ltd. (Z33) '05 (Value: $10,800 if sold)
You will get $304,800 and 13,000xp for less 20 minutes with the full tuned Veyron

do it again, over, and over

OR

Polyphony Digital Cup One of Event
Do Madrid Event 5 laps, $32,000 and around 4000xp for less 4 minutes
If you doing it again, over, and over.
5 times x $32,000 = $160,000 plus about 20,000xp for less 20minutes

I will go with the last one. 👍

best i found so far is the extreme series schwarz german event 1 lap of ring i can do it in 6mins 55secs and you get 59k so roughly 470k+ an hour not bad :)

First post here.

As a GT loyalist since the first, I've been feeling a bit suffocated by GT5's stingy award car and shopping options. Some folks are perfectly happy staying within Kaz's new limits, and decry attempts to circumvent it as cheating.

I've paid real money for a PS3 and "The Real Racing Simulator", and I want to simulate being a rich guy that does what he wants. To that end, I've been looking into this PSN user account exploitation.

Fellow cheaters, bad news: most of the high-end cars that you'd like to receive for a birthday present are not for resale. I've been compiling an excel spreadsheet of purchase and resale prices that I've observed, and would be happy to share it if anyone's interested. Here's some of the higher priced findings.

Nissan SKYLINE 2000GT-B (S54A) 1967 Standard unk 7,140

If you're interested in that exploit, it's a nice way to get some awesome cars before levelling up. The early years are good to use since there are less cars to chance across. Just don't count on selling them.

Right now I'm level 18 and the fastest way for me to earn money is in the Race of Turbo Sports, High Speed Ring. It's 3 laps and takes about 3 minutes 20 seconds in my tuned GT-R and gives 36,000 credits.

Yep just started that doing HSR in the Turbo Sports event. Mazda Furai, chuck a stage 3 turbo on it so you can enter (only adds a bit over 40hp) and I managed 3mins 02 on my first attempt, under 3 mins on my second attempt.

I'm using my b driver which is now a class 24 driver but in the expert polyphony race championship i have him use the zonda r 09, just start the race on all 3 which is 23,500 for 3 races and 85,000 for the total win. dont need to baby sit, just start the races. easy wins.

Unfortunately what i noticed is that price cars arnt handed out a 2nd time (not even at championships like at gt4), therefore you can't get the same car twice (unless u bought it before) to sell it.... :(

Race the B-spec and u get the cars awarded a second time.

Special Events rake in 100s of thousands of dollars, and when I'm doing other things around the house, I just run my B-Spec bobs and check in every few to reset them.

European Challenge on level 22 nets 83,000 credits per gold :>) I am running that until I have enough to get a 787b or the Peugeot 905, should be there tomorrow. The Mazda costs WAAAY more than the Peugeot, anyone know if it is worth it?

NASCAR in the Extreme American Championship Indy race gets you nearly 100K with ease, and very very fun to drive the stock car around Indy. It takes the flat turns on Indy better than any car I've driven so far. I don't worry about cash anymore :)

make sure to max your front downforce

I've been doing the European Rome Race for 83K and 4.7K exp. After a spending spree on both McLarens, some Ferraris (599 and 430 Scuderia which I used and 512BB which I haven't and already having the 458 though I bought another to race with only removable upgrades), Murcielago SV, Alfa 8C and running each on the championship a fair few times (gained about 2 levels to Lv 26 now) plus the Veyron and Gallardos (yes... I unfortunately bought one) and the XFR from easiest TG event (the Advanced one!) I still have over 6 million and I am waiting for the Formula PD to appear again. The Veyron was used so much I had to do the Body restore on it as the handling was off (at about 1300 miles!!). Not forgetting removable upgrades for speeding it up! I also bought a few more cars on the way with the total now at about 220+ cars.

anyone have any idea for a car to use in "like the wind" series? i`m stuck in lvl 21 and 1.400.000 credits.

I used the Corvette ZR1 RM (race mod), and tuned. Brings you up to about 900hp i believe, slightly heavier than the competition but its easily winnable at that point.
Costs about 600,000cr for the car, modding and tuning, but gets you the Minolta.

Good luck.

1 create a new user.

2 create a fake psn account with today as birthday and 1944 as year. Email can be fake.

3 add your real account as a friend.

4 log out of fake account, on to real account and accept request.

5 log back on to fake account and start a gt5 game.

6 get free car for your bday

7 go to community, click on real account, click gift, and gift the free car you just got.

8 go to ps3 home screen and delete the game save data for your fake account.

9 repeat steps 5-7 until you are bored

10 log into real account, accept gifts in community, sell the cars and pile up money.

1944 gives you a vw that you can sell for 75k
1967 gives some nicer cars that can't be sold
1979 gives you a crap car that isn't worth your time

Nice find, but still takes a quite a lot of time to complete. I timed myself and it took me 6 min 20 sec. to do it once, and I dont know if its ok for ps3 to launch the game and quit every 6 min 20 sec during protracted period of time. The only BIG PLUS of this method is that you dont have to concentrate on the game, you can do it in the backgroud like I am doing it now :).

Those of you who likes nurburgring nordschleifer, in extreme events first event just do it over and over again gives you about 60000cr and 4,7k exp. And its only 1 lap, it takes me about 7 min 30 sec. But than again you have to account for load time which is a must - you cannot avoid it, after winning the event you have to quit - which means again load time.

By the way what happens if the year of birth gonna be anything else but those three? Who knows?

I'm at level 22 so can't do the higher Extreme events, however the DTM race at the nordschleife is good, less than 7 minutes, 83k and over 5k exp.... Shame I spent 1.2mill on the car! :O
