What car you use for that?

I'm in the Mercedes CLK Touring Car ('98 I think? one with D2 sponsors everywhere!) and I put a turbo on it (Eventually for B-Spec Bob bless him, and it gets the job done that bit quicker). May have put tyres on as well.

Need to get hold of one of those aswell to get through those races... Sigh, so many cars to get and so little credits to get them with...

The fastest way to earn money has to be the 5 lap Indy race in the American Series, right? 98,000 in less than five minutes...

Only just made it to level 23 and not tried yet, but going by what you say then yeh it is... You have to get there somehow though so it depends on your level as to what you can do!

If its teh same as bspec there with BMW M5 fully upgraded, thats alot cheaper

Its not valid for the A-Spec DTM races, there is a specific list of cars. All but 1 have to be found in the used dealer. The one you can get new (which I wish I'd seen earlier) is the Lexus IS F concept race car, 845,000 and will probably need some tuning but is cheaper than the used DTM cars...

You get 83K for the European Rome Race and that can be completed in under 6 minutes with a decent car and is easier than the 'Ring.

I used the new account trick (wanted the account to note used cars) and now have the Schwimmwagen on my main account save (saved 625K so was definitely worth it as I wanted the car... even got the colour I wanted!).

Need to Race Mod a Corvette ZR1 for that American Race then. I presume that was the '09 ZR1 that was modded?

Please elaborate. The birthday thing?

I believe so, not at home atm so cant check. Like i said before i think its 600k/cr all in so its not too bad. You can use it for the American Challenge in Extreme at lvl 23 as well so youll be getting 2 championships out of it. I think there was something else you can use it for as well, cant remember correctly.

I'm sitting on 1.5m credits right now I've done a bit more than half the special events, and a good portion of the licenses (about 1/2 way through iB). I've only done events up to Professional, (done with almost all except GT world championship) and I am level 18.

My Strategy is except for tires I have not bought any upgrade parts at all. I just use the cars I need to use (prize cars, CE cars or whatever although the only CE I've used is the Murcielago on the Lambo race) as is, and use the specific cars for the races as well so I've had to buy a few (just got a 458 Italia, and a Camaro SS), but I basically spend the minimum I can.

That said for example to go through the one Mini race I had to buy a Mini at 28k, win the race for 14k and then sell it for 9k for a net loss of 5k for one stupid race. Stuff like that in this game pisses me off. I haven't sold any other cars except that one (I sold it cause my ex has one and she makes me want to kick a puppy).

After listening to all of the advice on here, I wanted to have a B-Spec money maker to give myself a break from the grinding. I am lvl 20-21 A-Spec and 21 B-Spec waiting on 22...
For B-Spec races, the 2nd Supercar at Daytona was the first one, and now it is the Expert Turbo High Speed Ring... that yeilds ~30,000 and 4100 XP for 11 minutes. I am waiting for the European one to open up, because I saw the first Extreme Nurb. Race with a built R8 was 16 minutes, 33,000 and ~7500 XP.

Has anyone found a better credit/minute or xp/minute one yet for the B-Spec guys?

I just buy the best overall car for the race , Money management isnt a issue for me in GT5, GT4 was much harder and compared to any other GT5 is the easiest for me

I enjoy driving my Audi R8 around the 'ring, so lately I've just been doing that Schwarzwald League B race over and over and over. I think it's 56,000 credits.

now that i have the minolta after completing like the wind and nascar series, is there more cars i need to finish the rest of the races? i`d realy want to spend some cash on my dreammachines for the sake of collection!

I'm currently lvl 16 A-Spec and lvl 8 B-Spec. Tonight I'm gonna try and let my B-Bob win the roadster event where you get the furai car as a prize. Is it possible to win the 'like the wind' event with that car?

Also, what's the best strategy for me at this point for cash grinding? level up to 17 with A-Spec and do the Expert Series,Turbo race of turbo sports and doing the high speed ring? about 3 minutes for 36k in a fully modded veyron I've been told?

And has anyone of you found out a good race for B-Bob to occasionally let him drive while eating or doing other chores? Without taking his level into account. If necessary i'll level him up alot.
