I got gold in the Sebastian loeb rally event, and used the reward car for the intermediate, all three of them. It works perfect for it, plus the loeb event is good practice for it so you don't scrw up on the last SS or something.
Used a slightly modded Subaru STI Wagon '00. I did a few mods to get it up to the HP limit, then bought the proper tires. Snow is a piece of cake, the other two took a second try to get gold.
I used a Lancer on the dirt and snow and a Lotus 111R RM on the Tarmac, just because I could, the Lotus destroyed them Went back and did the tarmac with the lancer too. The Lancer was plenty to win but it was not close to the Lotus time.
I used the C4 WRC just because I wanna save some cash for some cars I need for A-Spec. I felt bad about wasting the experience as I basically shellacked everyone in the event. I'm gonna build myself a subaru wrx or something and go back and do it again with a more reasonable car for a fun challenge.
thanks guys im winning now but i think there is a bit of a mess up on the cpus as on the dirt and tarmac stages i was fairly even with the other cars on the snow though i finished well over 40 seconds ahead in just the one stage :S
Snow Stages where a joke way to easy I was over 7 mins ahead at the finish of that
Gravel Stages all I did was mod the Car so it had 50-50 Power at the front and rear Wheels and added lots more brake to the rear wheels for slinging it round corners .
I would say any sanctioned Rally Car is going to be overkill. I destroyed the snow levels with my 260 hp Impreza. The problem is that the computer automatically thinks that sliding is bad, and will do anything to prevent the AI cars from sliding, which is obviously a bad idea racing on gravel and even worse on snow.
