Which car to choose for Gran Turismo Rally Intermediate?

I used a stock Citroen C4 rally car, it was actually overkill.

I got gold in the Sebastian loeb rally event, and used the reward car for the intermediate, all three of them. It works perfect for it, plus the loeb event is good practice for it so you don't scrw up on the last SS or something.

Same. Did the Loeb event, got gold and won the rally C4 and kicked so much ass in the Intermediate rally event.

Used a slightly modded Subaru STI Wagon '00. I did a few mods to get it up to the HP limit, then bought the proper tires. Snow is a piece of cake, the other two took a second try to get gold.

I'm using a Subaru WRC '03 for the intermediate, excellent car. I used a Lancia delta for the beginner.

tuning up most cars and i still cannot win :/ starting from a few evos to scoobies and now a lotus elise 111R and a clio

I used a Mitsubishi Lancer EVO VI RS TM that I had purchased from the Used Dealer lots.

Did an oil change and added some tuning parts to get to about 340 horsepower, and then aced the Intermediate Rally's

Good luck,

Bought a used Scooby. Upgraded it a bit, and did the expert with the oil light on.

Then before going into intermediate, decided to do an oil change. And it passed the max power limitation :dunce:

Gonna buy a new C4 Rally I guess...

I used a Lancer on the dirt and snow and a Lotus 111R RM on the Tarmac, just because I could, the Lotus destroyed them :) Went back and did the tarmac with the lancer too. The Lancer was plenty to win but it was not close to the Lotus time.

I used the C4 WRC just because I wanna save some cash for some cars I need for A-Spec. I felt bad about wasting the experience as I basically shellacked everyone in the event. I'm gonna build myself a subaru wrx or something and go back and do it again with a more reasonable car for a fun challenge.

thanks guys im winning now but i think there is a bit of a mess up on the cpus as on the dirt and tarmac stages i was fairly even with the other cars on the snow though i finished well over 40 seconds ahead in just the one stage :S

Snow Stages where a joke way to easy I was over 7 mins ahead at the finish of that

Gravel Stages all I did was mod the Car so it had 50-50 Power at the front and rear Wheels and added lots more brake to the rear wheels for slinging it round corners .

Snow stages are definitely easy. I got Gold on the first try on all of them by very large margins.

I would say any sanctioned Rally Car is going to be overkill. I destroyed the snow levels with my 260 hp Impreza. The problem is that the computer automatically thinks that sliding is bad, and will do anything to prevent the AI cars from sliding, which is obviously a bad idea racing on gravel and even worse on snow.
