Who Else Has Alternate Accounts?

Personally I don’t see the point in multiple accounts so for me it’s a no,

This seems like a gaping hole in the GT Sport FIA races. One could simply create 15 accounts and compete in every race and be almost guaranteed to win one of them. I've seen a couple of competitors with multiple accounts. It just looks like cheating to me. But I'm not sure how they can stop it really.

If you're talking about just winning one race, then yeah it's clearly an advantage. Although, this doesn't mean much in the larger picture.

As far as winning a championship, not much of an advantage. You have to have multiple good races on the same account and can only get into the top 24 race on one account per championship in each region. Don't forget that you would have to raise your DR to get matched with the best drivers in order to get maximum points.

Have you figured out the amount of time it would take to get into all those races? If someone is that dedicated, then I say go for it. Ultimately, might be a bit depressing when the Aliens win all the races that matter.

No I meant a championship. If you've got 90 chances your chances of winning the championship on at least one of them is much higher than if you've got 6 chances. I doubt anyone would be that dedicated but the same effect exists with 3 accounts.

At most, assuming no regional overlap and competing in both championships, you could get 9 chances per championship, per day using 3 accounts in each region. 18 races consecutively, for 6 days. 108 races.
But you've still got to get 3 exceedingly good results on the same account, have no life, no responsibilities and have a racing rig/commode.

Personally, I'll stick with racing elsewhere purely to avoid either hometime for the kids or repeated matchmaking groups for variety.

Have the details been announced on how the real FIA championship will be run? Right now we are making assumptions based on the test seasons. I'm wondering if the Top 24 race will stay as is. If it is the top 24 by DR and it keeps the higher points, then you have to do a lot of additional races to bring your DR up on all the accounts to even have a chance of getting in.

I have a feeling that PD and the FIA have some plans to work out these issues. Until the details are released, it's not worth worrying about. Like I mentioned earlier, the super fast drivers won't be beat by a mediocre driver anyway.
