Carl.Depends, really. People I've heard speaking French in Northern Ontario, they swear even more than we do. (and I mean Quebec religious swearing, not slang from France, which is more fecal or whore related...)

High-TestMaintenant, je suis en classe de Français 3, et je viens de finir l'examen de APUS History. Aïe! C'était difficile! Les choix multiples ont été pas trop difficile, mais les essays ont été très dur.

I underlined the main problem. Confidence, man! I think your only problem is that you're trying to translate it as it would be strustured in English. I've been in High School french for 3 years, but I also took it K-6. (Changed middle schools at 7th grade, they didn't have french..Je parle un peu de francais. Maintenant j'etudie le francais depuis trois ans mais je ne suis pas bon.
