I have stopped playing GT3 for 2 years already! The reason I stopped playing it because of some issues with my family. I started playing GT3 on March, 4 2003. What was your hiatus and reasons why?

well i don't know if this counts, but i played about 15% through GT3 at a friends house, then he moved, and now a year and a half later i finally bought my own PS2 and have started playing again! ive only had the system about 8 days and am already at 48%, SO close to my C5R and am having a hell of a time waiting! LOVE this game!

I stopped playing it when I got 100%. Sure I'll play it every once in awhile, but its not the same since I've done everything. I wish GT4 would come out already.

48% already in 8 days..man u guys r so gay playing 8 days and getting 48% man..what life u guys got

I usually get up to 100%, and then I stop playing for about 3 months, and then I usually delete my save file, and start all over again. The worst part about this is that I always forget that I will have to get all of the licenses over again, and that is the biggest pain in the ass.

hey dude what the hell else am i gonna do when i get home at 11pm from work and i'm not tired the slightest....i play GT3! its the only game i own mind you, and i always like to power my way through the % part of the game, then rig up certain cars to be exremely competetive so me an my buds can race. i hit 49.4% today and my thumbs are getting kinda sore (oh and i wasnt exact, it's been 10 days  ) i just work late and my girlfriend works early, so if i don't have stuff to do i usually stay home and play GT3 (come on, ive been waiting for this game for over a year and i finally get it, OFCOURSE im going to play the hell out of it!)

by the way Total Turbo you seem to be a bit lippy no matter WHAT the topic...maybe you should just remember the rule that everyone will probobly tell you....

"If you aint got nuthin good ta say, don't say anything at all" :D :D :D

You've got issues man. It makes me wonder what's so wrong with your life that you have to go around and make fun of others.

yea only the license are hard...

licences are the easy part.

the hard part is the rest of the game, but you have to make it hard for yourself.... i think opn this restart i only have about a 40% win rate. :)
just the way i like it :D

I have never reached 100% and prolly never will cause i just like to drive and have no intention of trying to complete the game.

longest time w/out playing??
hmm... 2-3 weeks i guess... or maybe less.

Use the IGNORE button is what its for rather than flamein out, thats a no win situation too

I think i stopped on Race 2 or 3 of the weekly race series...Vice City 100% was way more important for me.

i dont get it, a few people say they havent played the game in ages, and dont know when theyll start, AND THEYRE ON THE FORUM?!?!!?!?!?!

now, no offense to those people, but damn! is that all you do in your spare time?

Good point, but theres also alot of BS going on here too

I dont play that often, but when I have time, have fun with it.

use the ignore button

problem with the ignore button is that it doesnt help the problem, only hides it. Anyway masterblaster and sandstorm, i guess we three are in the same boat, ive had the game for 12 days now but have been obsessed with it for years, so im not exactly a newbie.....plus last month i completed GT2 because i was having cravings to play! well i got 98.06 or something % because i don't feel like doing the 2 hour enduros....GT2 enduros are so much more "dull" compared to the GT3 ones!:D

I rented GT2, but it pails in comparison to the graphics of GT3

I got into the Formula Championship and couldn't get past Laguna Seca. after spending a few hours a week on it, for a couple months, I stopped altogether for about a year. After that it took me prolly a week to finally win the race.

now my average lap on laguna seca is 1:04, best lap is 1:02.xxx, and you only need to average 1:06.xxx to win. (but you have to go min 8 laps to pit, ha ha)
