Why no New Seasonal Events?

I bet the other game would get its 'seasonal events' updated weekly even if their studio got destroyed in a fire. But this is just the way PD works. Remember when they came up with the news of weekly updates on the seasonals and stopped updating them the very next week or something?

I just want another seasonal like the Super Car Festival where I can race an endless amount of different cars...I'm still replaying that seasonal more than any of the others. The last two events (Super GT and Ferrari) are pretty restrictive in terms of the cars you can use, so they get old faster imo.

It's because i'm 33 a family man and only get a couple of hours a week to play on my PS3!!!.
This week my wife has taken the kids away with her to see her Mum I've told her work wouldn't let me have the time off and I've booked a couple of days off work just to play GT.
I guess no seasonal is payback !!!!!

No offense, but at 33, you should realize that life doesn't always work out the way you want it.

Especially when it's just a video game.💡

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. There is plenty to do in the game. Go back and try some events with untuned cars. Collect a model of car in every color, etc. Use your own imagination a little and don't rely on PD to entertain you.

Personally, I am thankful to get even the slightest of game updates from a programmer – FOR FREE! And also keep in mind we’re still getting these updates 8 months after the game was released!

I tremor at the thought of what will happen around here when A) the “limited time triple payouts” expire (I hope they don’t EVER expire), and B) PD suspends seasonal updates of GT5 altogether to support a new product.

Just be thankful for what we have folks!!

Ok, after speaking with Kaz this morning, he informed me that a pack of wild coyotes broke into their studio and everyone ran like crazy to the nearest exit. Kaz instead ran into a broom closet, cutting off communication from the rest of his guys. It took them 2 weeks to make the decision to get a team in to get rid of the coyotes. And now they are back at work working on the new seasonal. Since they just got started, it will be released next week. He was happy to report that no one was harmed, but he is now claustrophobic.

No, he couldn't figure it out without experienceing death by coyote. It took his team two weeks to figure out that he couldn't figure out how to get out. So they called in reinforcements.

In any event, things should be back to normal again soon................ Normal?

Most all comments in this thread are just simply ridiculous. Let's all complain...no matter wether pro or con Polyphony. Many people need to get a life and make comments that are actually interesting, objective and constructive.

I for one wish they would just announce, "no more free updates! If our haters don't like it, go buy Forza and leave GT5 to the big boys!"

We bought the game, received the content on the disc and have been cared for enough to continue to receive "bonus" events and other changes.

I guess, mostly confused and disappointed in the mass of the community, not just GTP.

We always need good people to clean toilets!

I think after the class win at the 24h Nürburgring Kaz is still partying with a lot of alc, drugs & sex in a yacuzzi pool.
While the rest of the team is busy atm with the move to the new PD residence.
