Winston cup races

Is anyone attending a NASCAR truck, Busch or Winston cup race this year? If so where at? We are going to Bristol night race again this year and also to the home track at Kansas.

They are both correct, but to answer your question, No. I am not going to any Winston Cup races. I'm not a fan of it really. I'd much rather watch/go to a Formula 1 race. They are so exciting! With all the braking, and...right hand turns!! Just kidding. Seriously, not trying to offend or start a flame war. I would just rather watch something that better suites my taste.

FWIW I have no plans to attend, but I'd love to go see the Watkins Glen race this weekend.

thank you duke. as to the others we all have our own tastes but to be honest I have ran a car on the dragstrip, circle track, and am currently running SCCA. (paved road courses) But you have to admit they have taken a few drivers from winston cup and put them into F1, Cart and other open wheel series' and they have not only driven the cars well but have surpassed many of the leagues own drivers in their own cars. Anyone heard of Tony Stewart? Robby Gordon? Jeff gordon? Bobby Rahal? I can go on and on and also the news is Paul Tracy is now wanting a peice of Winston cup. sorry duke for any trouble!!!!

FWIW - For What It's Worth.

Nascar - not my cup of tea (we don't get it in Australia anyway) although I will have a little look at it on Pay TV - more for the lack of anything else to watch.

Where did you hear this little piece of information? As far as I know, Tracy thinks IRL is a joke. And that's an open wheel series also. BTW Christian Fittipaldi is in WC from CART too.

I don't follow WC myself, but I'll watch the big races from time to time on tv(Daytona, Indy). I have been to the USGP in Indy though. It's incredible.

I plan to go to New Hampshire in Sept. with some friends of mine. It's actually much closer than Watkins Glen. This will be my first NASCAR race & my last chance to get free Winstons there!

I went to the Busch series race in Darlington, SC on Aug. 30th and it kicked ass.
