Thanks mate! Ill give it a go tomorrow:)! I couldnt get better than 8.11.466:crazy: with my own setup, and im already guessing your gearbox its much better. Everything else is similar! Hopefully well race tomorrow:)!

Last night I tried your setup, but I think the gear ratios are too short (is it correct to say "short"?), because on finish line the car reaches its speed limit, and also it requires to do more gear changes than other setups.
Example from chicane to finish line:
California: 2, 3, 2, 3, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.
GT-R: 2, 3, 4, 3, 2, 3, 4, 3, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.
and all these gear changes imply a waste of time, do you understand me? or what I'm saying is the stupidest thing you've heard?

Does it reach top speed with or without draft? I rarely draft so i don't know..If it reaches top speed at free run and hits the limiter of 6th then i must have done a mistake.

As for the gear ratios they are short (correct word to use) on purpose. That way you take advantage of the sliding acceleration out of a corner,or ''the bug'' as it is known. The way to do it is,slide with 2nd gear at the exit of a corner by pressing the gas a little earlier than you should, and while sliding ,change to 3rd as soon as 2nd hits the limiter,then let it rev untill 7k rpm and then 4th..I hope you understand.

P.S. I have a worry because maybe the final gear i wrote is shorter and then you are right on both your points. I'll check and tell you.

Short gearing for 2nd and 3rd is the GTR dirty little secret Liz.

You shift gears alot from the chicane till the straight.

I enter the chicane in 2nd gear and gear up to 3th and stay in 3th till i hit the straight. Makes the car much easier to handle while exiting the corners. Using the Cali btw.

Oh, this was a very hard race, I think I will play on the easier ones, it's difficult to drive with a dual-shock-control haha

Maybe you need a better tune and more practice. You should go to the tuning section of GTPlanet. There are a lot of tune there to help you with your quest to be more competitive. Dosn't look like a touch from there. But again sorry for that. Was a bit to eager to keep the preasure on :P Was fun racing though 👍

I think it's just fine 👍.
Your gearing is nice if you don't draft (if you draft, you hit rev limit 50 meters before brakes...).
