anyone who sings R&B, besides eminem if he falls into that category. The bands who are crap also include the "boy bands" who give us males a bad name, certain pop bands, and also a few singers (i.e. Brittany Spears, J. Lo, etc.). As you can probably guess, I lean more towards the rock end of the spectrum...

The B-52s are great. So are the Ramones. Half of the modern "punk" bands wouldn't exist without the Ramones, but you shouldn't hold that against them. They were cool.

I'm willing to guess that around 70% of their fans only like them because they're lesbian and so 'affectionate' with one another. Not to mention their songs which contain such [sarcasm]controversial[/sarcasm] material Like they're the first ones to come out and express their sexual preference, so you're lesbians, put a sock in it already! Even if their songs had different lyrics they would just shriek them in harmony like everyting else they "sing".

I also tend to dislike 'The White Stripes'.

Ugh. Music is music. If someone digs it, then it's fine by me. Who am I do say it's rubbish? it's their non-boy band attitude that irks me. They are a boy band. A pop in one minute, out the other band. As soon as they can see this, the better. They may take them self as a serious guitar based rock/indie/I dunno band by they are pop. And bad pop at that.
