I don't see how it's possible that you can like every single piece of music created in a specific genre. It's impossible.

There is no way you can't name one rock band who suck. You like Good Charlotte? Creed? Green Day?

YEAH! Take Justin Timberlake for instance. He's one of those Pretty Boys and I don't like Pretty Boys.
 
I'll disagree on Country simply because of Junior Brown. I'll agree with you on boy bands and Fitty Cent.

A genre isn't a band or an artist, FYI.
 
The White Stripes... Actually no I do like 2 of their songs.

I'll go with Bad Religion then. Boy do they suck.

We could draw similaritys to bands like Pearl Jam all day. Hell Nickelback sounds like them too. I like Creed they have some good songs, and although they aren't no where near great they don't suck IMHO.

OH and Foo Fighters suck man.

Kinda picky....nobody, I repeat NOBODY touches my sterio in the car! lol I disagree with virtually all other tunes everyone else listens to, that rides w/me. Their cars a different story... :irked:
 
Hmmm, I would have to say the only band I've ever hated is the Backstreet Boys. One thing I don't get is why everyone hates Green Day. Linkin Park is okay, too.

I hate when people say something sucks and then don't bother to explain why.

Seriously though, isn't creeds vocalist just awfull? And Religion and rock just don't mix for me. Nickelback, yeah they are also very simmilar sounding to pearl jam. I mean what's the point in listening to these bands when you could just listen to the far superior Pearl Jam?
 
Steps, S Club 7 (plus spinoffs), Aqua... basically cheesy party music. It's just repetitive, annoying and my sister used to like it.

Because I think Dave Grohl is an overrated singer (if you can call him that more like lousy screamer). I like Monkey Wrench but that's about it. Most of their other songs have gone mainstream repetitive, drivel. He should've stuck to drumming.

I admit he isn't much of a vocal tallent, but it works more than that horrible creed guy 'Wit arhms whayde ohwpen' sorry? what was that you said mate?

Ghrol has been Mainstream since Nirvana hit it big.
 
Yeah, it's safe to say that. I'd rather listen to Dave Grohl gargle mouthwash than listen to Scott Stapp read Shakespeare.
 
I think it's safe to say I have an artist that outcraps any artist mentioned in this thread. Tiny Tim. If you haven't heard of him, go listen to his song "Tip Toe Through The Tulips". You will not be disapointed.

Another artist I'm surprised I haven't heard yet is Yoko Ono. She really sucked.

99.99% of new artists suck, while the majority of new music in the 90's really sucked (some exceptions would be Nirvana and Pearl Jam).
 
Oh c'mon, he isn't that bad. He has the biggest nose in the history of homo sapiens, but he isn't that bad. His whole act was a comedy novelty act. He wasn't meant to be taken seriously.

I'm 100% sure you could. I gave up on modern music about 4 or 5 years ago.
 
Celine Dion makes me want stab myself in the face. And Jay Z is lame. I'll think of more later.

Ya I know a lot of Canadians like them, and I know I was stepping on some peoples toes with that suggestion. I like a couple of their songs but overall I think they are very overrated and I don't like Gord Downeys voice. Seems to whiney for my tastes.

Ahead by a Century is pretty ace though.
 
The only Hip song I like is 50 mission cap (correct title?) and only because it's about the leafs :D Otherwise I'm indifferent about the hip. Don't hate them, don't like them.
