Why would someone kick someone for being British in a cruise room?

My latest:

Lobby that specifically titled with the name of the club and it says CLUB.
When the person enters the room, me (the host) and 2-3 other people start explaining to them what's going on, that it's an organized club, a link to our gtp thread, that they need certain cars, that they'll be kicked if they don't have the proper cars, and inviting them to check us out here on the forum.
They don't respond at all or type anything, see 12 people in the track with low power tuning prohibited KEI cars...
They then proceed to enter the track in an S2000 or NSX. :boggled:
When kicked, they send me messages on PSN with obscenities.
(that's when they don't manage to beat the censor in the room & type obscenities in the lobby)

Entered a "Production cars only" lobby and asked the host (not being a smartass) how many cars have to be made before a car becomes "production"

1000 apparently, so I got out my Aventador. He kept saying "e21 (THERE'S A C_ IN FRONT OF IT- I AM NOT A LOTUS F1 CAR!) change car. Not production."

I point out the Aventador's 2000+ sales being celebrated by Lamborghini, but he still goes on about it. So I get a Renault Megane RS (alpine blue. Tres belle) and continue with my drive.

10 minutes later, host rips past in a Zonda R so I ask "Since when were there 1000 Zonda Rs...?"

"Since a while ago. You wouldn't know."
"They didn't even make 1000 Zondas of any type. The R was a three-of-a-kind car."
"It's a Zonda. Now stfu (At least say it properly... I can't take you seriously)
"And...?"
"Pagani made 1000 of them"
"No they didn't. Besides, the R shares 11% (or roundabout that) of parts with a road Zonda. So it's as much a Zonda as a Toyota TS030 is a Prius."

[You have been kicked out]

Screw it, I'm going on GT4...

Edit: I too have been victim of flag snobs. Not wanting to sound stereotypical, but its mostly Americans who kick me or ram me because I'm British.

I was kicked out of a lobby simply because I won a one-make race by over 20 seconds at Bathurst... I mean obviously I was cheating

Not good. Sounds like the host did not have a good logic. Also sounded like the host was a jerk for kicking you based on having a different opinion to them.

The amount of road-laws lobbies I get kicked from is silly. Just because I like to drive rally cars.

I mean, they're road legal, duh.

I allow all cars to be driven in my cruise rooms as long as players drive them with care. Although I am strict I not limit what cars are allowed.

Exactly. Most of the problems are down to the pieces of meat behind the wheel.

Yep its not the car its the person driving it. I see a big majority of cruise rooms that limit what pp, hp & cars & tuning is allowed & I stay away from those since I like to drive anycar.

I got kicked out of a lobby for bringing my X2014 Junior out. The following is what was said through mics:

Host: Who's the fag driving a Red Bull? (This guy sounded like he was 11 BTW.)

Me: I'll take the car off, and there is no need for that word.

Host: Only fags drive Red Bulls.

Me: Being bisexual, I take offence to anyone saying "fag" or any other derogatory term for the LGBT community.

It goes on for a bit more as others are ganging up on me, just for driving a Junior in a no-restrictions lobby. At this point, I'm surprised I haven't been kicked yet, so I try to mix my new-found anger with trolling and it continues for a bit more.

Me: I've written down everyone's (I actually did) name who even agreed with him.

Host: Is that a threat?

Me: Yes, all of you are getting reported for hate-speech, and suspect you (the host) are about 11-12.

Host: I'm 11.

Someone else: Hey *name redacted*, kick this fag will you?

I was on my way out when I was kicked. Afterwards, I did report everyone who's PSN I had written down. Some people...

Lesson learned: When online, Red Bulls are good for friends lobbies who don't mind screwing around.

Red Bull cars have gotten slandered sadly due to people spamming in them. The Junior should not have been a problem for that host. Its not as fast as its bigger brothers & you were trying to cruise in it. When I host a cruise room next you can be my guest! I drive my X2010 S.Vettel for example in mine & I cruise in it. I reduced the final gear so it does 7th gear at 4,500 or 5,000rpm at 110 KM/h, 70 MP/h & I only use about 10 or 20% of the accelerator when I am cruising along. I change gears 5,000rpms or lower so it purrs.

To that point, it was a while since I've driven it, and it was on Mt. Panorama, so I couldn't resist.

If it was the Fan car, I would understand. But the Junior? Thats just ridiculous...

Yeah. All the Red Bull cars have gotten alot of infamy they not deserve. If I was there & I got insulted I would have turned it around & said to the kid "I'm not a cigarette son, ciggies are bad for you. You get lung cancer etc!" To throw him of. Then if he was still being smart I would have left the room.

Eat your veggies kids, then you just might grow a good enough pair for the Red Bull Junior.

I hate foul mouthed children, I.E most children these days.

I think you're being too generous using the junior as the benchmark, the Red Bull go-kart seems much more appropriate for them.

Being in secondary school, I can confirm that the lower years (7 and 8) are generally the worst. I have two on my bus who make terrible "Your mum" jokes.

They keep asking me to race them on GT "Because you'd lose." They then proceeded to show me GT6 gameplay from Jordan... And claim it was them. No words can describe this...

Can confirm this, they're all Smurfs (Down here, 7-8-9th grades wear blue uniforms) with foul mouths and genuine disrespect for authority that I absolutely despise.

Woah woah. I'm in year 8, and I dont mess about on GT6. Check my sigi;)
Maybe I'm taking this the wrong way. Not all year 7\8's are bad drivers, the majority are. ;)

If it was me in that situation, I would happily call their bluff and see if they stick to it. :mischievous:

Very true. The munchkins also wear blue where I am. Luckily I don't have to- James Hunt t-shirt for me!

The vast majority should just be Derezzed by Rinzler or something. There are good ones but they're as common as seeing a Leprechaun riding a Unicorn

You know me... I did. "Oh that was YOU! Hi Jordan"
"I'm Lloyd."
"Oh..."

@legacyMACHINE indeed. For a yr8 I have a deep voice which makes me sound older ;)
I can get away with saying I'm older ;) and I agree. They are very rare. Was hoping one of our very kind GTP members would make a cruise lobby tonight or tomorrow night so I can chill after school for once:)

Well next time they say how fast they went round any track in any car, let us know. I'm sure a lot of us would love to obliterate whatever time they put up. :mischievous:
And seeing as they would happily take credit from fellow GTP'ers, I would happily let you take credit from my work if it means knocking them down a peg.

I'll post the server ID later tonight 👍
