Reminds me about a trip when I went to France with my mates. We knew eachother for like 9 months. GRID was on the arcade and I managed to dominate meanwhile my friend was last and was wondering why I was so good. I said "GT, just GT." :D

@hsv010 probably won't happen as most people are in Fifa and CoD as well as GTA.

I don't care about the story... that my friend, is a WIN!
Flawless Win!

But yeah, the guy is quite cool- he brings in all manner of cool stuff. Over the last few years its been go-kart (woowoowoooooooo!), Xbox, Ps2 (with Killzone, GT2002, GT4 and F1 2004), a bunch of other stuff too. One charities morning he even cosplayed as Rinzler and brought in a speaker which looks like his light discs. Eccentric gentleman indeed

People think that this car...

When kids drive on the track as if it's a 1-way when it's actually a 2-way during a cops/cruise lobby.

Hit the nail on the head. I actually went on a pre-Christmas persuasion thing at school, I managed to get the teachers to show the intro and try and sell it to everyone

That's why I always kindly ask the host (or when I'm hosting myself) to restrict PP or max BHP.

I love seeing kids asking to raise it so they can hotlap Nurbinger in there Cerbarus 👍

When I host cruise rooms & people not read the room name or ignore it & come in to start speeding & drifting. Luckily I have many friends who like cruising and my rooms go quite well.

When this happens, I always ask myself:

"Are they illiterate, or act like one?"

I'd say both. I often spend more time kicking than cruising sometimes. I was in my room for about 3 hours the other day and my kicking quota was around 50 players or more being dismissed. After a while people who knew what the room was came in & it was a nice atmosphere. If anyone causes trouble I instant kick them. In return if they do the right thing & cruise I let them drive any car. I gave up on the three strike policy in Gran Turismo 5. No one who caused trouble cared so Its being a one strike policy ever since in Gran Turismo 6 in my rooms.

I only do it in two situations
1) some guy is pretending to be cop and being a donkey about it, but doesn't have any way of kicking the bad players. Just ramming them. This is a big pet peeve. 2) getting away from a ramming 🤬 This is more needed when the cops are donkeys again.

I guess most cruise rooms are just racing around or get hit by people racing around though. I'll host one tonight and post the ID up so you guys can join in the fun 👍

Especially when I put the speed limit in the lobby title and people still ask me what it is.

Ah. I get those to sometimes & I tell them they are not. Also in my rooms I have damage on Heavy, fuel & tyre wear on full as another deterrent. I also have Traction Control off, Skid recovery off, Active Stability manager off, The whole lot except Antilock Braking System. Its priceless when I hear players say "turn damage" off. I & my friends say drive properly. I also tell them to not be a lead foot. Alot of people who not get what the concept of cruise room behaviour is have the foot down & leave their cars in 1st gear. Thats not how to cruise. It also makes some cars very sensitive since if the player touches the throttle to much it would fly like a rocket especially in a high powered car. Haha yes I get asked that question SO many times what the speed limit is when its clearly posted on the room name. If they ask what it is in miles per hour that is fine because I always have my rooms speed limit in kilometres per hour. So many ignorant players show up to my cruise rooms. I even cruise in my Red Bull cars better than these troublemakers do in road cars. I have the throttle at 10 or 20% & I change gears at 5,000 rpms so they purr. They go slow when driven that way. I rarely see anyone else cruise in one.

Okay that sounds good. I am a different time zone though so I am not sure when you will be hosting your room Legacy.

What do you expect from brats like those?

It's quite impossible to turn a pointy square into a plane circle.

People who think that because most of the volume of an atom is empty space, there'll be enough room for them to overtake if they simply attempt to drive through the car in front of them.

People who has never heard of the concept of brakes.

People who close their eyes and hope for the best when the road gets narrow and there's another car in front of them.
